if you are looking for an authentic japanese food, seryna at little tokyo infront of makati cinema square is the place to visit. their bento boxes during lunch time is a must try and has reasonable price. they serve good quality of sashimi bento box and maki.

we went here during a weekday lunch for me the lunch sets was okay. it is definitely worth the price but i didn't find anything special about it. what really turned me off was the staffs. they were definitely short-staffed and the restaurant was packed. the servers were frowning most of the time and it took them a while to complete our orders and bring our bill.

really authentic japanese experience and food. their washroom doesn't even lag behind the entire interior of the place. great place to bring your family or your anime-loving friends or basically just anyone who lives for japanese food.

"seruna" at the entrance of little tokyo is a high-quality japanese bar. there was sashimi for lunch and i was able to eat with confidence. not only fish from the philippines but also norwegian salmon etc. were used. seats are always filled with lots of customers.

my hubby is really into japanese food. he planned to meet me after office to try the japanese food recommended by his officemate which is near my office. the seryna is located at what they called "little tokyo" in makati. the food was surprisingly amazing.

this japanese resto is truly an awesome one.

i love their lunch menu! 😍 for only php380, you'll be absolutely stuffed! it is also always an amazing meal too.

i love the kaisen gozen. it has something like 10 different kinds of sashimi: salmon, tuna, shrimp, sea urchin, fish roe, squid, and a few others i'm not sure what they were. hahaha! their sashimi is also very fresh. 😊

service is pretty good even if they're absolutely full. they get really packed... so go early or prepare to wait. the wait is always worth it anyway. 😊

serene place to enjoy japanese food. not too crowded, simple ambiance with a relaxing vibe. spicy salmon sashimi has the right combination of fresh and clean taste.

we had ika geso karaage, san ten mori, gyu don and oyakodon.

the shrimp was fresh. hindi sya lasang calamares lang, so no worries. parang may tinge of saltiness dun sa squid and may certain crunch sya. the rice bowl (gyudon and oyakodon) is good enough for sharing if you're not that hungry since rice meal naman sya. feeling mo lang pricey yung place but the servings ng rice bo are quite sulit. may complementary miso soup na rin yata. they also offer cold barley tea or hot idk tea, but if you're not in to tea wag ka na humingi. haha. they also have complementary black seaweed.
san ten mori has salmon, squid with roe, and tuna. of course salmon is, as always, heavenly. you can never go wrong with salmon. :)

eto lang yung mej ayoko. the staff aren't as accommodating as i expected, considering na they have service charge. saka based on my experience kasi if the restaurant is pricey, usually the staff are really nice. i overheard one staff pa na parang foreigners (taiwanese) give higher tips. i leave tips when the staff deserve it pero kung may service charge na nga, sana pantay pantay na yung treatment kasi whether we like it or not, nag tip na kami e. yun lang, i hope they would be more attentive even to their kababayans.

my take:

1. food - serving is worth the price, quality, and taste. i had the bento lunch set, and it tasted legit. very authentic.
2. price - given that it's in little tokyo and it's authentic, therefore it's also japan price as well. i repeat, worth it!
3. ambiance - cozy, and authentic japanese thanks to the interiors. 
4. service - good.

one of the rare japanese restaurant in makati wherein the quality of the food is top and the prices are quite cheap for the quality.
i go to this restaurant for about once a week atleast.
i always order the yakisoba, spicy tuna crunch, gyoza and spicy tuna roll.
food for 2!
so yummy!!

some of my friends even invited me to visit the place but every time we plan it. out, it gets cancelled. but j wanted to really eat there one time and i. figured that it’s about time to make it happen. tucked inside little tokyo hides a. japanese gem or so what foodies say. i actually had a bit of difficulty finding

we celebrated a friend's birthday here. i forgot to take pictures of the the other stuff my friends got. 

the karaage was crispy and juicy, but rather bland. lemon greatly improved the taste, but it really needed more seasoning. the others got sashimi, sushi, and udon. to wash it down, i ordered calamansi juice. it was okay, but it was php 85? for dessert, we all got shaved ice (milk, matcha, and strawberry). 

their loo is very clean with lots of toilet paper. they also have a bidet! but but but, i had some trouble locking the door. 

a lot of japanese people were there too. it seemed pretty authentic, but a touch overpriced. space was kinda cramped as well.

bomb food every single time. always a destination when in the area. lunch set menus are super good value for money too.
