scratchin' your head!. stopped in to this spot on the urbanspoon review.
very bizzare and interesting concept. be prepared to park on the street and walk a few feet. don't even try to park behind the shop, pretty dicey proposition.
the menu: one size pie, any and all toppings, one price!
the concept was quickly explained by the dread locked, rasta styled and friendly staff. a order of their pesto bread sticks were excellent with a fantastic homemade marinara dipping sauce. ice cold soda's in bottles or byob.
the order sheet has a option for a "trust" or "limited trust" option where you let the pie maker choose the toppings! a little too much trust for my liking, but the locals we talked to said it always seems to work out.
the dining room is a bit choppy and the rasta music (an old lp player in the main dining room) in our corner was blaring. a quick word with the staff and they toned it down.
overall, very good pie!
i am glad we got there before the saturday night push. because of the wood oven, the pies were stacked on hold in the "outdoor, screened in patio" waiting for a turn in the oven. it could be quite a wait.
