cincinnati magazine named sammy's in blue ash as the #33 best burger in the city - so while i was working out that way - i had to try it out! pretty sure i had the mushroom burger ($8.95) with sauteed mushrooms & onions, cheddar cheese and sammy's sauce (

stopped in for lunch on a friday with 2 buddies. very busy but the wait was minimal. i had the bleu burger with bacon added and fries. everything was amazing! i especially enjoyed the delicious bun. my friend ordered the garlic parmesan fries, which were a big hit. give this place a try, you won't be disappointed!

great place, great food. love this place. went with a girlfriend for girls nite. the burgers were awesome!! i was torn on what to get and our waitress was super helpful and completely guided me in the right direction. i ended up getting something not on the menu. i got the mushroom burger and substituted the sammy sauce with bbq sauce and added bacon. the flavors were wonderful. and it wasn't messy at all. i also upgraded and got the garlic and parm fries. dipped in ranch dressing i think these were quite possibly the best fries ever!! i will definately go back and take my husband this time.

took the husband. food was still good but we went on a red's game night but the service was slow and it was so hot in there. if you have time it is fine but if you are looking for something quick you might think again.

i've eaten at sammy's severl times now and each time the food has been very good and service prompt, even when the place is packed. the fries are good, and i especially like the garlic fries. the bf had ordered a regular burger, chili burger (twice), and the mushroom burger. he has proclaimed them all very tasty. i've ordered the veggie burger, which is grilled veggies and not a patty. i especially like the fact that the grilled veggies include zucchini, besides the typical mushrooms, onions and peppers. the buns are very soft and fresh and very tasty. they also stand up the the grilled veggies. per the bf, the large beer is too large and the small beer too small. each time i eat at sammy's i can't wait to go back.

best cob salad in cincinnati. i love burgers but it's nice to know you can eat healthy in a sports bar. no iceberg lettuce in this salad but plenty of mixed greens. i have them add a grilled chicken to it. add a ice cold giant beer and still stay guilt free.

great wings! (homemade sauce and bigger than the competition). great burgers! (flame grilled and served on a good bun). ice cold beer in a chilled mug served at a great price and a large selection. hd tv's (i will be watching the game here). also, if you like ne clam chowder (best ever). lastly try the key lime pie (great twist on this homemade pie). two thumbs up for this place!

sammy's gourmet burgers and beer is located in blue ash at 4767 creek rd, catty-corner to another area restaurant called through the garden . the burger joint is operated by the same owners of el pueblo , a popular mexican

wow!. sammy's is a hidden gem in blue ash. well, maybe not "hidden" since they were jam packed at 7pm on a thursday.

i got the sammy burger and my husband got the chipotle burger. the burgers came out quick (maybe 10 minutes, i was shocked, for how busy they were) and they steaming hot. and oh my goodness they were delicious. wow, wow, wow!!!

i hate to say it, but i would say they are comparable to some of the other "hot burger joints in town" if not...dare i say it- even better?? service was efficient and polite- our waitress made sure everything was taken care of.

i can't wait to go back!

gourmet?. i only have one experience at sammy's gourmet burgers and beer, and i'd have to say, "huh?" i got a normal burger w/ cheese, bacon, typical veggies. it was luke warm (at best) when served. the flavor was not bad, not gourmet either. when you call yourself gourmet, you should honestly be held to a higher standard, and serving cool/cold burgers means that they were not cooked to order, they were sitting in the back waiting for me when i got there. onion rings from a freezer bag, same kind zip's uses. didn't get beer, but it didn't look like they had much "out of the ordinary" stuff.

not just the burgers are great. after hitting this place up the first time, i've been back about once a week since. burgers are definitely top notch. lots of different styles and toppings to chose from. my wife had the french onion soup and proclaimed it one of the best. i've also tried some of their fish offerings during lent and was really impressed with the crispy crust and tender fish. the garlic fries are okay. they could be less greasy. the 32 oz. draught beers are a godsend on hot afternoons. my only gripe is that the tables near the kitchen catch occasional whiffs of sewer gas either from the bathrooms or exhaust fans. take a table by the front door or better yet, sit on the patio during the warmer months.

second time was better, good atmosphere and great beer selection. is it the best burger in cincinnati.....no but the atmosphere, beer selection, good service and laid back atmosphere are worth a visit to sammys

expensive and the meat tasted like it was soaked in broth, not fresh. try black angus burgers and brews if you are looking for a great burger

burger quest. we heading to zip's but made a snap decision to head to sammy's arrived early, the bar and restaurant was quite boring, grabbed a table the server was quick and started his recommendations, the house beer was what, 24 30 oz! for three bucks! house chardonnay "jlohr" don't see this often, you usually see the same "cheap wine" in bars that don't care about a decent bottle to serve.

started with there wings, i am a wing guy, and go out of my way for the good ones, these are good! highly recommended.

jalapeño bottle caps, batter fried, not too hot, quite tasty.

all of us had different burger's, i always stick with the house burger on the first visit.

my burger was cooked correctly, put together well, the meat was flavorful, and the ingredients were fresh, quite good.

my vote: i will keep this in my top 10 list (cincinnati)

very great guacamole burger. had jalapenos added to my burger and they were not stingy with the amount. the whole group of 5 enjoyed everything ordered. kelly gave great service

fantastic burger. my wife and i were staying in the area after relocating from california. we noticed over a few days that sammy's was always busy. so we popped in to try the burgers. my wife had the sammy and i the guacomole burger. we both loved them. both were nice and juicy, great flavor and the quality of the meat excellent. no doubt that we will continue to go to sammy's for burgers as long as we are in the cincinnati area.
