greatburgersw several creative gourmet burger options. garlic parmesan fries addictive. great craft beer selection. very juicy burgers- one of areas best. would put in top 5.

the food was just okay. i got the black bean burger and my husband got the fire in the hole burger. both theburgersand the appetizer were not very fresh when we got them. the jalapeño poppers we ordered came out very fast and the cheese inside was not even melted. friendly staff and homey environment.

fantastic!!!! this place was packed when we arrived, but not so much that we had to wait for a table. the menu was fun, had several burger or sandwich options.burgersare unique and flavorful. fries were great! had several appetizers that i wanted to try but didn't (i wasn't too hungry), they sounded so good! beer menu has several options. service was goods. would highly recommend and visit again!!!!

i’m always on the lookout for great burger places; it’s a quest of sorts.  i definitely have favorites; sammy’s gourmetburgers& beers was a new find.  turns out, this small restaurant in blue ash offers a really solid burger menu and an equally impressive craft beer selection! in fact, according to my husband, it’s easy to choose a beer because sammy’s provides a beer chart with the following: name, brewery, style, origin, and abv.    the menu includes a variety ofburgersfrom the simple classic cheeseburger to the maple bacon to the chili (and many more)!   not pretty to eat, but great flavor combinations.  allburgersare served with garlic fries, which are garlicky good, but i am also a sucker for their thick-style onion rings!

sammy's in blue ash is a really solid burger!  i like that the menu has a nice variety ofburgersfrom the simple classic cheeseburger to the maple bacon to the chili (and many more)! my favorite is the guacamole burger with chipotle mayo, guac, lettuce, tomato, bacon, and cheddar jack cheese.  so good!  i also really appreciate the honey kaiser roll that theburgersare served on.  it's a nice touch.  allburgersare served with fries.  i also love their onion rings!  last time we were there we started with the buffalo chicken rolls- great heat and flavor on those!  overall, decent prices and solid, all beef burger!  if you don't like beef, they also have chicken burgers, lamb burgers, and salmon burgers...something for everyone!  i would put this in your gps, it's probably not a place you would just stumble upon!  definitely worth a visit if you like burgers!

sammy’s reminded me a lot of flipdaddy’sburgers& beers and not just because of the similar names, though both do have a focus on uniqueburgersand great craft beers. as much as i have enjoyed flipdaddy’s in the past, i loved sammy’s even more.

i have to cast a dissenting vote here on sammys after a less than good experience there last night

i'll start with what went well. the smell ofburgerscooking as i came in from the parking lot was excellent and gave me some high hopes for my meal. smelled like a summer picnic with dad on the charcoal grill. waitress was solidly good, answered my many questions, and allowed me to get half and half on my fries (half garlic, half sweet potato)

everything else went rather badly. for 12.00 i received an overcooked (mw when mr was requested) and fairly dry burger with shredded lettuce (at this price point, i expected a nice piece or two of leaf lettuce) one slice of cheese instead of the two i ordered and paid extra for, and no grilled onions. when i pointed out that there were no grilled onions, a dish of oil-soaked barely cooked (no browning, no charring) onions was brought to me to add . i had asked if the bun was toasted or grilled in the aforementioned many questions, was told it was toasted, but this one wasn't. the fries brought to me on the first try were the wrong kind, and the ones that were brought to me as a correction were cold, old, and lacking anything remotely resembling crispness

i was asked how my experience was on the way out, and was honest about it. i did not expect to be comped, but it is nice to be offered to be comped or at least discounted, and i wasn't.

it is clear to me that this place has the ability to put out much better food than i received, but on this night, that wasn't the case. i won't be returning.

not impressed. we had high hopes that this place would live up to its reputation as a great burger place. both off ourburgerswere so overdone that we had to send them back (ordered them medium rare). catfish burger was definitely the best. also, can't respect a place that tried to pass off flavored mayonnaise as tzatziki sauce

no burger joint! gourmet all the way!. excellent array of gourmetburgersplus+++ atmosphere of a sports bar with a gourmet chef hidden in the back.

properly cooked; great service. we stumbled upon this place when we were staying at hotel in blue ash. before leaving town we stopped in to grab a bite to eat. let me tell you we were surprised. we ordered twoburgers(i can't even remember what kind) but they were cooked exactly to order. so few places know how to cook a burger properly its amazing. we also had an awesome waiter who was helpful in suggesting the bottle caps. man was he right. they were delicious! it's not a low calorie meal by all means but for the first time in a while it was worth every calorie.

great service, but not gourmet quality food. while my server was fantastic and wonderful, i was generally unimpressed with my menu choice, the blt. it was basically ok but came with a generous smear of guacamole that did nothing to enhance the flavor, one way or another, since it added nothing to balance the taste. it was just there, kind of a pretty shade of green. but why?

nevertheless sammy's is big improvement over the dive that previously occupied the same space, a bar that served greasyburgersand catered to genuine bikers drinking beer and playing pool.

sammy's is crowded at lunch lunch time, so it can't be all that bad even though i won't be a regular there.

unethical practices. sammy's gourmetburgersand beer failed to honor their own certificate, stating that the certificate couldn't be used for the beer portion of my meal. no where in the advertisement for the certificate i purchased or on the certificate does it state this. imho this an unethical way of doing business.

burger lovers beware!. i had heard so many wonderful things about sammy's from bloggers and 365 things to do in cincinnati. so i decided, since i live in blue ash to try this local hot spot. i've been there 4 times and only once, about 6 months ago, was our food enjoyable.

my boyfriend and i kept thinking - we'll give it another chance as burger lovers. each time ourburgershave been over cooked, we order them medium, and once even medium rare. each time they have been well done. the first time although it was over cooked the burger was flavorful and juicy. our past three visits theburgershave been dry and not very good. on my last visit, my burger had sat under the heat lamp so long that the egg on my burger had become chewy and rubbery. our waitress was also less helpful or accommodating. we had to get our refills from the bar.

for the price and general experience, go to a chain like red robin where you can get consistent flavorful burgers. if you want to try something new in blue ash - hit up incahoots and try the be the boss burger. yum!

the only reason to go to sammy's is for the beer or fries and neither are worth the price! i will not be going back. i'd rather go to a burger joint that can cook my burger properly.

good burger, but no coke zero?!. i really love theburgersparticularly the chorizo and the service and even the wings are really, but i was disappointed that they no longer carry my favorite soda, coke zero?!

good burger too big price. sammy's has some goodburgersbut really $9.95 for a burger. it was not that gourmet and service was ok.
