we needed something like this in the southern suburbs! tried the sunshinejuicewhich was great and the almond butter toast and my friend had the fresh mintjuiceand chia party. all really good and fast, will definitely be back

so glad the southern suburbs finally have a fresh excitingjuicebar. tried it out today and loved it! fresh, heathy and delicious! everything you'd expect from ajuicebar. raw lasagne was light fresh and tasty! i'll be back to try more!

very enjoyable! delicious smoothies with every vegetable and fruitjuicecombination you can think of. i had a passion smoothie with banana, granadilla, mango, baobab powder and dates. all i can say is.....yum!

local is lekker! i often find with health juices they look like algae on hartebeastport dam and smell like the ass end of a veggie patch... this most certainly not the case with rootbar. its arrival in the area is most timeous and it's location pretty strategic - right next the creamery! i am sure there will be an influx of kale-consuming vegan hipsters there in no time. the uprootjuiceis my fav - whack a bit of ginger in everything and it will all feel good, including a sore thought! in the short time it has been i have been there a lot and comforting yo know i can get my week's worth of nutrition in one glass and deserve an ice cream afterwards. i have had a taste of a couple of other drinks and they vary from yum to bland, there might need to do some recipe tweaking. it might be a bit pricey... after all most of it is just rabbit food in a blender.

the decor is clean, simple and cosy. the staff are not the friendliest and seemed distracted even though there was only one other table. a good welcome goes a long way.

we just had juices a they were about to close. one of the reasons we haven't be here before is it closes quite early. i had a greenjuice(parsley, apple, cucumber, lemon) and hubby had a sunshine (pineapple, orange & ginger). they were underwhelming and the ginger was too heavy in the sunshine. i was expecting something unique, but did not discover it.

if you're in the mood for healthy wholesome food on the go or a quick sit down, i would really recommend this place. but if you're wanting lunch better get there by 12.30 otherwise you may find it getting a little cramped. my 3 portion (huge) salad plate was more than filling! add a portion of protein for r30 if you still have room. my first visit so i tried their ginger lemonjuicewhich had just the right amount of ingredients.

i've walked past here numerous times and was curious to pop in, so my friend and i decided to go for lunch. she ordered the uprootedjuice(orange, carrot and ginger) and a chicken pesto&avo wrap. i'm not a fan of ginger, but it was subtle and very fresh. i had a flat white (big cup of truth - yay!!) and a roast veg&feta wrap. the wraps are rather small, but toasted and tasty. staff are friendly and comfortable seating.

it was a monday, my body needed some good vitamins and nutrients to give it a boost after a weekend with little sleep and unhealthy food choices🙈. so on my way back i decided to check out rootbar for a fresh juice. it is perfectly situated on the road side.

they have quite bit of options for smoothies and juices as well as shots (the healthy kind😜) i decided on the "sunshine"juiceas it sounded like exactly what i needed. it was delicious although at first the ginger was a bit overpowering but after a few sips, it didn't bother me. (maybe ask people how much of ginger they would like as i've seen at other places)

they also have truth coffee which i didn't know, so i will definitely be picking up my caffeine fix on the way to campus.

the salads looked super fresh and delicious and although salads are not my favourite, i really want to go back to try theirs, thats how good it looks.

service was quick and everyone was very friendly and maybe i went there on a good day but everyone who worked there seemed very happy which is refreshing to see and creates a lovely atmosphere.

my friends and i had a wonderful experience here today. this is a great place to get a quick, healthy and delicious smoothie/juicein the area. i will definitely be back and i can't wait to try some of their meals next time.

the location of rootbar suits me perfectly as i live up the road from it. i am also an on the go person so grabbing a smoothie/juice for pre/post gym or even before running errands is great as its healthy firstly and secondly sustains me throughout my day/afternoon. my favourite pressedjuicewould have to be "deep rooted" and favourite smoothie would be the caffe energizer because who doesn't love a little kick of coffee in their smoothie.

everything we have tried at rootbar has been tasty (and healthy). their juices are great, my favorite so far is the greenjuice- nice mix of green fruit and veg. their chia party is a tasty and filling breakfast option. chia, berries, granola, nuts and cashew milk make for a delicious bowl of goodness. they serve up a great flat white and americano (using truth coffee) and their gluten free brownies are the perfect afternoon treat. they also have friendly staff and a great space. give them a visit for sure!

amazing fresh delicious juices, and really interesting different flavour combinations. did the 3 day detox and feel like a different person. the best part is that these weren't the standard juices you find at other rawjuicebars around cape town. the chewy chai nut milk is heavenly and so fulling and loving the zingy ginger shot. what makes this place even better is the owner bryan who went out of his way to get me my order even though the store was closed for renovations. you don't find customer service like that these days. i'm obsessed and totally addicted

check out my cool coffee art, impressive. a really small spot but they say dynamite comes in small packages, that's exactly what this place is. thank you for bringing awesome coffee to my doorstep. truth coffee for the win. i also tried their chicken wrap which was lovely and seasoned to perfection. there isn't much space to place your bum, so it more of a grab and go vibe, but i loved the place. i really get amped about places and this is one of them, it's been open for about 3 months now. it's next to the creamery so pop in for a coffee,juiceor wrap. i didn't get to try the juices yet, but it looked like they have some epic options on the menu. i think i have found my new watering hole, or at least one of them. we are getting so spoilt in cape town now, with all this love being put into food and coffee. here, i tasted the love...

such a lovely spot to sit and have a healthy break! this "juice" craze is on a steady increase and it's simple, but delicious places like rootbar that remind me what's so great about making fresh and healthy choices. perfect position, friendly faces, scrumptiousjuiceand great coffee!

was running late for my exam earlier this week and needed a something to kill my hunger quick so decided to do a drive by rootbar.
will definitely be doing this more often - it's such a cute little place and the service is friendly and speedy. i had called in advance saying they have 5minutes to make it before i show up and i was met by a laughing owner holding up myjuiceblend ready in take away cup and a "good luck for your paper"

i got the just green (with extra kale and mint - at minimal charge) and it was perfectly juiced - no foam... could really make this a fresher start to most of my days.
