best for people who like real sushi. i think the negative reviews about the sushi must be from people who like cooked sushi rather than raw. their sashimi is the best in town, without doubt. we've been there 50+timesover the last year and a half and the fish has always been outstanding. their gyoza is also the best around, and actually pan fried, which is the only way we've seen it in japan. take it from people who have lived in japan and hawaii (which, if you don't know, has a very strong japanese influence and a large japanese population), this is the best japanese food in the twin cities, cooked or raw. we have always had excellent service, too.

food was good but over priced and service was in a hurry to leave. our server walked by our table 5timesin a time span of 10 minutes before getting our drinks and at the same time failing to notice that my four year old was even at the table with us. she did however do a great job of subtly letting us know she was cut in the middle of our meal, hinting to please hurry. the check was delivered about the same time our entrees were delivered. josey was very polite but could use a few pointers on making her customers feel more welcome rather than making them feel like they are a burden. servers make their money off of customers who tip, not the $2.13/hour they are payed. they should remember that before they come to the table.

ronin is inconsistent. attimesthe food is great, but on average it's average. service is spotty and manytimesthe wait staff are non english speaking asians. if they were more consistent to the upside they'd be higher rated of course

cold food. ronins usually has very good food. the problem i have with them is the last 2timeswe have been there we were seated at a table and our food came out cold and/or room temp. don't know about you but it seems that if it came right from the kitchen that it wouldn't have time to get cold. rooom temp steak and veggies but cold rice is yuck. very disappointed as i always bring friends and family there. was embarrassed.

great experience. me and my husband have been here quite a fewtimesalone,have brought our kids and have brought our extended family.we have tried the dumplins as appetizer and always eat off the habachi grill.we all love the food.its fantastic and the cooks are very friendly with great service.i would recommend the shrimp and chicken cooked on the habachi.its awesome and the fried rice is the bomb!

love it.. i get their sushi often, always great.
ive eaten at the actual resturaunt a fewtimesand great food always.
had a slight issue with a waitress once, she took food from us while we were still eating it. i filled in a complaint card and she was hovering over my shoulder trying to read it. manager apologized and was very polite.
all in all i still love their food and will continue to eat there.

not the best. i have been there severaltimesand was not impressed at all. i have had a lot better sushi from the other 4 sushi places locally and they were better hands down and the hibachi that i received was not good at all. maybe i have always gone on days that were bad for them but i don't know. they are definitely not my 1st, 2nd or even 3rd pick for a place to go eat sushi. prices are not worth the quality of food that they present. the place does look nice but i go to eat not to look.

best sushi in monroe. my husband and i have eaten manytimesat ronin. the decor is beautiful. the sushi is terrific. the service is very good. we've tried most of the sushi on the menu and have not had one we didn't like. people line up for the hibachi so i guess it is good, though we've not eaten it. i would highly recommend ronin.
