i justlovegoing to rick's in the morning and meeting my crew. we eat breakfast and share conversation. ilovethe rick's special. always cooked to my liking. staff very friendly and service is fast.

we tried rick's cafe for the first time this past weekend. i could not think of the words to describe how much i loved everything about that place. i'm inlovewith mom & pop type places. the food just tasted like it was made withlove(sounds cheesy, but that's the only way i could describe it) it tasted like something that would come out of the kitchen at my grandmas house. you can't get that from an ihop. it was so delicious that i was craving soon again after my food settled lol. i can't wait to go back!

great place!!. i cant find enough words to say how much ilovethis place!! i have never had a complaint in all the years i've been coming here, the food is phenominal and the staff is amazing!! the "little hole in the wall" gives it that perfect mom and pop cozy at home feeling, and then when your food is served.... there arent words to describe how yummy everything always is!! i will continue to come here for as long as its here!! which i am sure is going to continue to be a long long time!! :)

this was my first place of employment...... hahahaha!!!! ilovethis hole in the wall! its a great place for a reasonably priced breakfast or a late night snack. it was also where i had my first job as a dishwasher at 12 years old. then, it was a waffles n' things.... but it still feels like the same old joint when i go in there...... if you are ever in the mood for bacon, eggs and waffles and you want to eat them in your sweat pants..... this is the place.

love, love,lovethis place! i has the strawberry pancakes and i loved them. the western omlette was also great. wonderful service. i will be returning for sure!

lovely local food!. iloverick's cafe! the food was hot, delicious, and the service was awesome. the owner personally came out to tell us about his specials, the brisket for sunday that would be cooking for 10= hours, and asked if we needed anything. his wife works there also, and it is a nice calm place for me to bring my son. 10/10 this place is a must find! right off of va beach blvd and close to first colonial!

good food!. reasonably priced although i don't agree w/ the beverage price!
other than that great food that won't break the bank! been goin there for 7 yrs,and it's literally around the block from my houselovethe breakfast too! thank you for great food at a great price u have our vote! judy sullivan (salonbella)

breakfast/lunch. my wife and i both think that rick's breakfast is, without a doubt, the best in the city of virginia beach. we have been eating there since he opened many years ago. in addition, his soups and sandwiches are excellent. i particularlylovehis bar-b-q.

weloveit!. been there several times for breakfast with my husband. he loves the pancakes and my favorite is the eggs benedict when they are on the chef's special. don't miss the fried flounder or fried shrimp at dinner. never had a bad meal. service is great too! they define teamwork here! recently met rick and he's personable and humble giving much credit to his wife and staff. don't miss this place, it's a favorite!
