rick's rocks!. awesome food and prices. owner/chef is cajun from my friends part of the country and some of the daily specials are cajun foods. i can order small portions if i want and special orders. awesome. local paradise. it's isnt swank but you cant eat that! good location. *****

great place. lived in va beach for 5 years, just found this place about a month ago. been there twice, each time was great. best reuben sandwich you will find anywhere!

home away from home. my son has been recommending that my husband and i try out rick's café for quite a while. we finally did, and i am glad. the restaurant is a little hole in the wall which is what i look for when i want good food and a relaxed atmosphere. the waitresses were very quick & attentive, and they all had great personalities. the restaurant has a size and set up that makes you feel relaxed and comfortable. the food - it was scrumptious, but what was even better was that home-cooked taste. when you put everything together, well let's just put it this way. when it comes to eating, i found home away from home. keep it up!

excellent independent restaurant. my nephew introduced me to this place. incredible food. i have come to the conclusion that the best ribs in town are found here.

best breakfast in town, hands down. surpasses all breakfast dining i've tried. staff incredibly attentive and friendly. if i could rate the overall satisfaction of rick's higher than 5.0 i would!

service is up and down here, but the food is outstanding. i can't eat enough of their biscuits and the omelets are ridiculously good. this is a staple in the area. when hanging out at the beach late night and you need to fill up, it's a no-brainer on where to go. guess it doesn't really matter what time it is, rick's is the place to be if you're hungry. i've been going here for close to 10 years and i won't stop.

i just love going to rick's in the morning and meeting my crew. we eat breakfast and share conversation. i love the rick's special. always cooked to my liking. staff very friendly and service is fast.

a great no frills local diner. good food and huge portions, fast service. ive never had a bad meal here. open 24 hours. i always recommend ricks to tourists as a great breakfast place.

excellence.... the food is excellent...reminds us of flavorful home cooked meals! they have the best chicken wings we have ever had!!! the waitresses are polite and friendly! today is my husband's birthday and we just said how we're glad we found a place we enjoy and here comes the owners rick and donna; they are such personable and genuine people. we appreciate them taking time to meet us. in the words of arnold schwarzenegger "we'll be back!

i came into this restaurant with a couple of friends since we were all pretty hungry and thought that ricks would be a nice place to eat. i have a special condition called celiacs disease of which prevents me from being able to eat gluten i.e. (bread). upon my request during our tables order, my server was extremely rude and cut me off without completing my sentence, refusing a gluten free meal. i explained my allergy and concern, yet she was still very rude and refused. worst place to eat or dine ever. my friends stated that their food was low quality too if i might add.

nice. went to rick's on saturday morning. i ordered the three egg (over easy) platter, with the edward's county sausage. over easy eggs aren't as easy as they sound, mine were perfect. the sausage absolutely delicious, snappy outside, wonderfully spiced inside. i hope i don't get anyone in trouble, but, when we pulled up there were a couple police cars out front. we went in and the policemen were enjoying breakfast. if our men in blue enjoyed it, it must be good. once again, it was just breakfast, but it was great.
