reds is always busy and has a lineup. we were able to use the nowait app and get a good idea of how long our wait is and this helped us out a lot as we were with my in laws who would have hated waiting out in the rain.
the service was great. i really like that this location has parking out front (if you can get a spot) and it feels larger than the beltline location. food is always great and generous portions. the coffee here is unlimited and really good.
i got the original because i'm boring, but you can't go wrong with eggs, sausage, hash browns and toast. my husband got the florentine and though it didn't look to be much when the dish arrived, he said it was actually very filling. the inside is ham, cheese and spinach, so it's quite a rich and heavy dish. i did try my mother in laws chorizo hash and it was very flavorful. my father in law is very picky with his food and even he ate all theeggsbenny.

if you’re looking for a brunch spot on the weekend, check out red’s in ramsay! the restaurant can be really busy over the weekends, but there are adequate seating for all sizes of groups. it feels rather rustic and cozy inside, with a lot of decor that you would find in a cottage. my vegan burger was really delicious, albeit a bit messy to eat. it was flavourful and juicy, and i like that they toasted the bun. my friends enjoyed theireggsbennies and sandwich.

only been here once, but i really enjoyed everything. i snagged a table for two even though i was by myself (loner alert!) and it was comfy and great for people watching. the service was great and the classiceggsbenny was up there with the best in the city. the hashbrowns were flavorful and well seasoned. i stayed for almost an hour and a half and no one rushed me to pay and leave. highly recommend this place! *update - been here multiple times now and with the service, food quality and taste i have to now say this (and diner deluxe) is my favorite breakfast place!

great vibe and service. burger a little dry and the wife said she wouldn't order the cobb salad again. $1 extra charge for house mustard for the burger. beer from last best was terrific. we'll try it again and have breakfast items. they looked good coming out. beer goes witheggsbenny, right ?

ordered the artichoke and prosciutto benny with salad instead of potatoes. the hollandaise sauce and salad dressing were delicious, i believe it was a pesto or basil hollandaise and strawberry vinaigrette for the salad? only complaint is myeggswere way over poached. asked for them to be medium (whites should be cooked and yolk runny) but came out hard so no runny egg :( and that's the best part!

cute diner with typical diner fare. i tried the reuben ($16.50 - a little pricey) which came on nicely grilled marble rye with tons of meat and grainy mustard. it was very filling and good, but nothing spectacular. however the fries that came with it were pretty delicious: very crispy and flavourful! other people at my table had theeggsbenny (16.50) and enjoyed them. would return if i was in the area.

red's is a true gem! i have now been to both locations of red's and they are both equally excellent. my brother and i came to reds in ramsay on a sunday morning at about 9:30 and we are glad we showed up when we did. by the time we left at 10:45 there was a major lineup. the lineup is well deserved as i had the besteggsbenny i have had to date. a spin on a classic benny with prosciutto, artichoke and a balsamic glaze. my brother ordered the pierogi breakfast and he very much enjoyed every bite. the menu seems to be very similar if not the same as reds on 4th. the service was excellent and very efficient even with a full and busy restaurant. well done reds! i will be back.

reds is another one of my favourite spots for brunch. the original location was on 4th street and now they have another location in inglewood/ramsay
i have only ordered 2 different dishes. the salmoneggsbenedict and the short rib hash. my favourite is the short rib has with the sourdough cheese toast. man is it ever good. the short rib has includes potatoes (sometimes they are crispy and sometimes not) but the short rib is sooo tasty. i like going to the inglewood location because it has more space and the waiting area is bigger too. the one on 4th is alittle smaller and waiting area is too squished. its ok in the summer because u can wait outside. overall i enjoy reds. nice diner feel too

came on a sunday for brunch. there was about an hour wait at 1 in the afternoon. once we were seated our server was very friendly and attentive. standard breakfast fare. i had the ranchero burrito and found it a bit bland. putting the salsa and sour cream on helped. the servings were generous, and the standardeggsand bacon were very good. best to come early i think and stick with the classics.

mediocre. red's has the type of brunch one can find anywhere. unfortunately when i went last weekend the hollandaise they doused myeggsbenny in was made with butter that had clearly gone bad. i am surprised that a place would decide to not only make, but serve, something that has turned. it's hard to tell if the butter has gone bad from looking at it - one has to taste/smell it.
there is only one way to describe the price points at red's. think of what you would want to pay for something and add 3-4 bucks to it. there's your price!
overall, food was mediocre and there is truly no ambience or charm of any sort. a pass in my books.

hands down favourite. always enjoy coming here, pleasant atmosphere, good prices, and the food is always a hit. love getting the salmoneggsbenedict here, it is always consistently good, but it can take a little longer if you come here in a group, it was a group of 6 when we went. last time it took us about 50 minutes from we ordered until we got our food, server was on top of it though informed us. service is attentive, however it can be extremely lousy if they are full.. which to some point, is understandable. nonetheless, still a happy camper.

great service. stopped by on a whim, looked like a neat place. it is, neat, nice and clean, trendy. pretty pricy though. $11 for your average 2 egg, bacon, hashbrowns & toast. after looking around and seeing breakfast on other tables, we opted to share the red's big breakfast for $15. it is big.eggsover easy - were over cooked. hashbrowns - over cooked and cold quickly, maybe made earlier and reheated? bacon - chewy, sausage - ok. pancake - pretty good and large - although they wanted to charge a couple bucks for more syrup (really???). the service was excellent, but for $21.00 (not including gst or tip yet) for a shared breakfast and 2 coffee, won't be back. you can get all of this at the black diamond bakery for $4.95.

hashbrowns are terrible. we've tried red's in ramsay twice now. the service is great with friendly staff. we have a family of 5 and have sampled a few of their dishes. great atmosphere as well. we ordered theeggsbenedict and omelets. they were great. however, not one of us liked the hashbrowns, they were completely mushy and had absolutely no flavor at all. i noticed all of the tables around us were also not eating them. if you substitute fruit for hashbrowns, which we tried on our second visit, they charge you an additional $5. i had the reuben with fries and gravy the second time i went and it was also really good. i just can't get past how bad the hashbrowns are and the up-charge for fruit.

delightfully delicious. went to red's diner on a whim after craving some breakfast for dinner on a cold winter evening.
we were greeted by friendly servers and were welcomed to choose our own seat. our server was a pleasant man who was quite humorous and prompt. my boyfriend ordered a chocolate milkshake which he enjoyed (although he regretted having it cause it filled him up so much he couldn't finish his meal...) and i partook in a mimosa that hit the spot.
i ordered the traditionaleggsbenny and my boyfriend ordered the big breakfast. the portion sizes were quite large and everything on the plate was excellent! the red's potatoes were very tasty and i took a particular interest in my bf's blueberry pancakes which accompanied his meal. the prices are very reasonable for the portion size and the area.
we left completely satisfied with the entire experience. kudos!

enjoyable. very friendly service, nice atmosphere & we didn't have to wait long for our food;eggswere poached perfectly (wasn't crazy about the hash browns though - the 'red' sauce, or whatever they are seasoned with, wasn't for me.) overall i liked.
