red's in ramsay

great addition to ramsay. great food and great service. my faves are the reuben, the blt and thebreakfastsandwich. it's a little pricey for diner food but overall high quality and yummy.

neat little place in ramsay. it's great that ramsay has a restaurant added to the area. hoping they get more, it's a neat area. i went to this place twice- once forbreakfaston a weekday (wasn't as busy). second, for brunch on a weekend (which was busy). too bad they didn't have a second floor during those busy weekends :)
liked thebreakfastmenu as i found it was extensive and gave bit of variety.
during the second visit, for brunch i tried the vietnamese tofu wrap- was disappointed. i found the wrap very bland & had it with the salad. the meal did not fill me up in terms of hunger. other than that, thebreakfastseemed pretty good during the first visit. servers there were pretty friendly.

love this place! service has been great the times i’ve gone and easy parking. if you go during peak times i recommend be app “nowait”. theirbreakfastmenu is great, the quesadilla was awesome and the hash browns are super good, lots of flavour although i wish i requested sour cream. not sure what seasonings they use but best hash browns i’ve had. the chicken club sandwich is delicious and filling, chicken was juicy and full of flavour, not shaved or bland like lots of places i’ve been to. orders received in timely manners both during peak times and slow times, so that’s awesome too!

only been here once, but i really enjoyed everything. i snagged a table for two even though i was by myself (loner alert!) and it was comfy and great for people watching. the service was great and the classic eggs benny was up there with the best in the city. the hashbrowns were flavorful and well seasoned. i stayed for almost an hour and a half and no one rushed me to pay and leave. highly recommend this place! *update - been here multiple times now and with the service, food quality and taste i have to now say this (and diner deluxe) is my favoritebreakfastplace!

came here forbreakfastthis morning. was a wait but we didn't mind. got in and sat at the counter. seats were not comfortable and did not move.

serve was less than interested. got us coffee and tea, took our orders and then gave us the bill. didn't ask how the food was or if we needed anything.

was also incredibly loud between patrons, wait staff, kitchen crew and the slamming of clean utensils back into their holders. my boyfriend and i were practically shouting at each other to hear.

food took longer than it should have to come out considering the amount of staff in the kitchen. boyfriends benedict was cold - great. mine was alright, nothing spectacular though. don't think i'll be wanting to come back.

great vibe and service. burger a little dry and the wife said she wouldn't order the cobb salad again. $1 extra charge for house mustard for the burger. beer from last best was terrific. we'll try it again and havebreakfastitems. they looked good coming out. beer goes with eggs benny, right ?

red's is a true gem! i have now been to both locations of red's and they are both equally excellent. my brother and i came to reds in ramsay on a sunday morning at about 9:30 and we are glad we showed up when we did. by the time we left at 10:45 there was a major lineup. the lineup is well deserved as i had the best eggs benny i have had to date. a spin on a classic benny with prosciutto, artichoke and a balsamic glaze. my brother ordered the pierogibreakfastand he very much enjoyed every bite. the menu seems to be very similar if not the same as reds on 4th. the service was excellent and very efficient even with a full and busy restaurant. well done reds! i will be back.

pretty decentbreakfastplace. large space, very busy with really friendly staff who truly hustle ! i found there prices to be a little expensive maybe $2-$4 more then i would pay, they also change $1.50 extra for a sliced tomatoe instead of potatoes. i would go back and try other items - i really enjoyed their hollandaise sauce and balsamic. ordered the caprese benny- was really hoping it would have buffalo mozzarella cheese rather then melted mozzarella.

awesome saturday morningbreakfastvibes. red's has a warm and cozy ambience that makes you savour each every bite just that much more. shrouded by the looks, is an expensive menu that definitely feels over priced. the salmon benny was delicious but for the price felt like i needed something a little more.
try this place out for yourself but def not anything special that sets itself from the rest.

one of the bestbreakfastplaces in calgary. everything is delicious, even the toast. the blueberry pancakes are amazing and the hashbrowns are top-notch. as well, the service is always friendly and fast. definitely worth the weekend wait.

this place is certainly not "in the red" with prices like this.breakfastis average, and the prices are quite expensive. $3.50 for coffee and $16-plus forbreakfastis absurd.

amazingbreakfastspot. great food choices and they tasted great. had the chorizo hash and it hit the spot after a big night out! the service was a little slow but the food was worth it so couldn't complain.

came on a sunday for brunch. there was about an hour wait at 1 in the afternoon. once we were seated our server was very friendly and attentive. standardbreakfastfare. i had the ranchero burrito and found it a bit bland. putting the salsa and sour cream on helped. the servings were generous, and the standard eggs and bacon were very good. best to come early i think and stick with the classics.

in the business.breakfastat red's in ramsay this morning, best coffee in town!!! good thing as we had 4 cups each to fill in the time before our food was served. sitting at the counter, in a very clean open restaurant was interesting to say the least, as we watched the service slip slide down hill. the place was busy and there was a line up outside, but there was reason for this and it wasn't poularity. it was the incredibly slow service from the front of the house. with a full view of the kitchen we watched the kitchen staff work incredibly fast and with no slacking. it was when they placed the plates of food on the pass through under the heat lamps, the food sat. we watched the servers walk past the food, in all honestly 10 times before lifting it. we watched the owner walk past the food four times before looking around lost then finally picking it up. we only believe he did this as he was being watched. we were just about to leave without eating when ourbreakfastfinally was served. too bad we couldn't finish as we were so full of coffee. we will not return to this restaurant asbreakfastand coffee at $20 per person is too expensive for heat lamp warmed food. train your servers. they are nice friendly people with no serving skills. hire a floor manager.

i've been to red's several times before and i decided to have a birthdaybreakfastparty there. although red's doesn't take reservations, the staff helped me out and had the tables put together (i had 16 people party) before the time the guests were coming. i am so grateful to the staff of the red's in ramsay! it was amazing and i was very blessed! thank you for going an extra mile and making my day special!
