disclaimer, this was my first time ever going to a "ramen house". thus i was excited to finally experience real ramen. ok all that said.... this place was a delight! the ambience, the smells, the presentation of the dishes... all delightful! and the taste, was terrific. i was surprised of the intricacies of the process of ordering your ramen. it was not complicated. but at the same time, they have options to let you tailor your ramen experience - the firmness of the noodles, the richness of the broth, the spiciness level, the seasoning profile, the pork protein, and vegetable, and then there are extra toppings/infusions you can add for added fees of course.
this place excels at keeping it simple with a heightened level. meaning, there aren't many base flavors to choose from (4 to be exact), and there's only pork as the meat option... their whole system works. in part because ramen is compromised of basic elements, and the other part; because it's efficient, leading to a consistent product every time you go. and consistency is a big factor in regards to food. though i will say i do wish they had a few more protein options namely chicken or fish/seafood.
the pricing is a bit pricey. but it's a quality product. and you won't leave hungry. the serving size is large. the pics attached are from the first time we checked this place out. it was a flavor learning encounter hahaa. the next time we went, i kicked it up in flavor selections. thus, if you're like me and you're not afraid of kickn flavor.... select: "rich" for your broth, "heavy garlic", and at least "level 2 for spiciness", and "green onions", and finally "pork belly" always. you won't be disappointed. oh and btw... red king is legendary!
