railhouse in ft worth. i will never go ther again you spend 20 min outside inline and then when you get your food it not to your expectation .who ever heard of putting mustard pickle onion on a barbque sandwish.it was dry and the meat was so thin you couldnt get full off it and the bun to small for the sandwich i couldnt beleive i sit in the running burning my gas and a/c for that small $4.00 1/2as sandwich iam so mad .then when you try to call them to tell them about their they just pick up the phone and wont say nothing and you hanfing on the phone i took a photo of that sanwich iam going to put it on utube.the next time i want barbque iam going to robinson, where the meat so thick and moist and good and barbque sauce off the chain and it worth the money and drive.well why i dint go there i was closer torailheadhuge mistake all they care about is the money not the customer are they poor service of how they treat you while out in the hot sun they wouldnt offer you a glass of water for the wait 20minute wait outside.it get thumb down

this place ripped me off. when there in july from out of town and wanted to buy arailheadt-shirt. they where out of the size and color i wanted. the ladies that help me and looked for my size and color and they didn't have it no problem i was told just write down your name and address with my phone number and they would mail me my shirt at no extra cost if i paid for it. great deal right! i never got my shirt and after two months i called them and they said they stilled had my info and my shirt is coming. called them again with no luck this time. well its been four months and no shirt. be careful with these people there shady.

making the lone star proud. if you live in, travel to, pass through or fly over fly over fort worth and don’t stop atrailheadyou may as well have never lived. this is a staple of the great city and represents the qualities of what is near a dear. the service and atmosphere are fantastic. this is a place that you can bring the whole family and enjoy your time and just relax over a great meal. the quality of the brisket, links and chicken is top notch. the portions are what you would expect from a texas style smokehouse and the beer… well let’s just say that it’s the coldest thing next to what the titanic encountered. this place can get packed out but it is worth the wait. two notes: they offer veterans a discount (personally i say thank you) and they are closed on sunday (for some reason i always wantrailheadon sunday, blah!).

sad, sad, sad. excuse for a bbq joint. beans were tasteless, ribs were salty and dry and the jalepeno sausage was the worst ever!! if you want to learn how to make honest to goodness good tasting bbqrailheaddo an apprenticeship at almost any bbq joint in central texas.

a copy cat!. this place is just a copy of angelo's with a bit of texas fast food thrown in......and remember how "they" got the stuff to copy angelo's! i think the folks that go torailheadare not tough texans...just wannab's.

recent visit. had given up on this old ft. worth favorite until friends recently invited us out for an evening of fun.railheadwas back up to its great standards of putting out some of the better bar-b-que in the area. the pork ribs and turkey are still my favoite!

solid ribs. i've eaten atrailheadonce and had the rib dinner. their ribs aren't the best i've ever had (that honor goes to smitty's in lockhart), but they are easily the best i have had in fort worth. extremely tender, meaty, and smoky. they really do fall off the bone, which you have to exercise caution with as they can create a mess!

still, good food. i think the rib dinner was about $11 and it was worth every bit. oh, and the best part; $2.50 beer schooners all day every day! i'll definitely be coming back in the future.

bitter. one thing that ruins good bbq, is oversmoking.railheadbbq is guilty of that. ease up on the smoke or use another type of wood ! ! !

after a day full of bad 'cue,railheadwas a nice way to finish. it really has more of a bar feel than it does a bbq joint. the smell of smoke was pleasant, and the meat looked great too. the brisket was tender, with a good crust and a thin smoke line. th
