having heard about this place so many times, i had huge expectations, and it lived up to every single one of it! we ordered the murgh tandoori which was a whole chicken marinated in multiple spices and their signature sikandari raan which is like the whole leg of lamb braised in marinade and then cooked in the tandoor. the murgh tandoori was very tasty, not too spicy, not too subtle, just perfect. but it was the sikandari raan that stole the show! the meat was literally melting in my mouth! it was very succulent, the flavours from the spices, malt vinegar packed a punch and overall was an absolute delight to have! we also ordered the tandoor salad, which was bunch of veggies and paneer with few spices like cumin powder and chaat masala. it was a bit bland and maybe less favorite just because we had the raan on the other side. then we got another signature of theirs, the daal bukhara, which is almost cooked for close to 24+ hours, and tandoori naan. the daal was cooked to perfection but the naan seemed chewy. quantity, taste, ambience, service, everything is fabulous, worth every single penny! no matter what you order, sikandari raan is a must!
