we were here as my friend from s. korea wanted to have indian food, esp. lassi, butter chicken and daal! so this was the best option available to us near the airport as he had to catch the flight back home.
so we were here at 7pm but the restaurant was already full! we could get aplacefor three with a little wait. anyway ordered food as per his desire but i am a vegetarian so not much choice except paneer khurchan and peshawari daal, their signature dish and garlic naan! but i have no regrets as the food was very tasty. my friend also liked his non veg food too much! so we were all happy in the end!
it's a costlyplacebut worth it!

having heard about thisplaceso many times, i had huge expectations, and it lived up to every single one of it! we ordered the murgh tandoori which was a whole chicken marinated in multiple spices and their signature sikandari raan which is like the whole leg of lamb braised in marinade and then cooked in the tandoor. the murgh tandoori was very tasty, not too spicy, not too subtle, just perfect. but it was the sikandari raan that stole the show! the meat was literally melting in my mouth! it was very succulent, the flavours from the spices, malt vinegar packed a punch and overall was an absolute delight to have! we also ordered the tandoor salad, which was bunch of veggies and paneer with few spices like cumin powder and chaat masala. it was a bit bland and maybe less favorite just because we had the raan on the other side. then we got another signature of theirs, the daal bukhara, which is almost cooked for close to 24+ hours, and tandoori naan. the daal was cooked to perfection but the naan seemed chewy. quantity, taste, ambience, service, everything is fabulous, worth every single penny! no matter what you order, sikandari raan is a must!

visited thisplacea couple of months ago for dinner. superbly amazing food. the food is quite heavy as its cooked in ghee and in a traditional method. ordered tandoori phool, subz seekh, roomali roti and dal bukhara. the dal was the best so tasty and very heavy like just half a cup was enough. all food is served in copper utensils which is very healthy and my favourit. the service is very good and you are so pleased at the end that you would want to return again and again. the look of the restaurant is very traditional and the open kitchen can help you see hows it cooked.

i’d recommend thisplaceespecially for meat eaters
top picks - dal makhni and rann - e -sikhandri. carry a sanitizer if you don’t enjoy the smell of food lingering on your fingers as they recommend eating the food without using modern day cutlery.
comfortable atmosphere and welcoming staff.

one of the best places to go for a truly authentic north india food experience! thisplacehas a very limited menu, but most dishes are delicious and you don't feel the need for an extensive menu. must try would be the dal makhani!! one of the best dal makhanis i have eaten! other dishes which i usually have here and would highly recommend : tandoori aloo, & rumali roti!

thisplaceis one of my favourite. thisplaceis very comfortable it has a decent ambience and soft music. the best part about this hotel is that there are no forks and spoons provided one has to eat with hands and has to wear an apron which is provided by the restaurant itself. this restaurant gives pure desi vibes.

thisplacehas been my favourite since childhood. i still remember as a kid mostly my dad would have a dinner meeting with clients here and we would join him. it was just a fascinating experience overall, no spoons to eat, copper glasses and plates, the full size aprons. 🥰
i recently took my fiancé to thisplaceand relived the memory and he loved it too.

you musssssttttt try
raan (it is the best i’ve ever had)
black daal
cheese naan/rumali roti

have these 3 together for the best experience😍

p.s.: if you’re a vegetarian, you can totally skip this place.

we had a family lunch for 4 on 21st may 2017. peshawari has an excellent ambience. we ordered variety of kebabs, dal makhani and various breads. the portion was slightly more for 4 of us but food was pleasing to eyes and great in taste. all the person serving were helpful and knowledgeable. it was a fabulous time together and enjoyed the food. food at peshawari is bit higher in cost than most of the fine dining restaurant but it is great value for money. it’s aplacei would recommend to all and would definitely come again.
