this was the end to my four day long weekend what a wholesome experience it was at peshawri. from eating our favourite dal bukhara n the murg makhani along with enjoying my favourite drink to having the most hearty laugh and conversation with the restaurant manager mr. niladri biswas. this undoubtedly was the best experience i’ve had here so far. and i have visited the restaurant with the same set of friends earlier but just our interaction with the very enthusiastic staff made all the difference for us this time! add especially in this present scenario with covid the staff in general were very cheerful and i seen the highest level of safety measures and hygiene not that i hadn’t expected but it’s worth a mention. they even served us keeping social distancing in mind!! like always the food was great! felt so heavenly to have the good peshawari food after 7 months. great job done by the itc team and thank you the entire staff.

make this northwest frontier restaurant, outside the international airport, your first or last stop in mumbai. it's a carbon copy of delhi's famous bukhara, with the same menu and decor. heretics have frequently suggested that at least one or two of the peshawaris may actually have better food than bukhara but to suggest that is sacrilege. in this case, certainly, while peshawari in mumbai does an admirable job of maintaining standards it is not --- in my view - quite as good as bukhara. but then if you are in mumbai and bukhara is miles away, this is the best option.

had been once to peshawari prior to this visit of mine. and every single time i have just simply loved their food. located on lobby level of itc maratha, andheri east the usp of this place is to have your food with hands and it tastes divine.

i visited peshawari on a special occasion, my birthday and it was indeed a treat. ofcourse it was just a week prior that restaurants were allowed to invite guests for dine-in, so lucky me. if you happen to visit the restaurant now, they have big glass partitions to every table so you get your own private space. they have taken a lot of care in terms of hygiene, so utensils are washed, sanitized via uv and packed before being placed on the table so no human has touched the plate before you. also there is no menu now so you get a digital menu which you scan on the table and check for yourself.

on welcome we were treated with a papad platter and green chutney, chutney is superb. peshawari offers 3 different options in its menu - you can go a-la-carte, signature set menu or single diner's experience menu. let me warn you the quantity offered by peshawari is huge portions. so go for signature set menu only if you have a huge appetite else you may need to pack a lot of food and take it back. set menu is priced at 4000 and taxes. we were 2 of us, so we decided the best option for us would be to go for 2 single diner's experience menu. this was priced at 2375 and taxes. it's a 3 course meal with starters, main course and dessert.

this menu comes with 2 pieces of tandoori aloo, 1 piece of subz seekh and tandoori salad as starters. for mains - it's paneer makhani and their signature dal bukhara. the mains are absolutely divine. must haves here. you can choose your bread along with the mains. we called for butter naan and cheese naan. cheese naan is super filling i must say. and for dessert you get an option to choose any one from gulab jamun, ras malai, kulfi and phirni. we tried the gulab jamun and kulfi with falooda, again superb!

we had a splendid time at peshawari, the staff took really good care of us, a special mention for the manager - mr. hitesh, extremely helpful and courteous. thank you peshawari for making my special day even more special!

we tried the peshawari for the first time before lockdown and the food was great, freshly cooked very tasty and well presented. the waiters were attentive and service overall was good. the restaurant looked to have been recently decorated. overall a good meal and great value we will certainly be going back.

i feel the place is bit overhyped. while food was lovely so was cost but not the service. a improvised version of this place is bhukhara where you are actually made to feel delightful and special.

first of all i would like to tell that this place is definitely priced on a higher side. i have tried mutton raan at many restaurants and i always wondered how these guys make it so juicy and sumptuous. this is like the quintessential mutton preparation. dal bukhara is another special preparation which should be tried. staff is very polite and always helpful. my experience with mr. swatik and mr. shubham was great they recommended me their specialities. as the menu is limited every single dish is special and tastes great. i was little early to the place considering my booking but my colleagues were little late and the staff was cooperative and allowed me to occupy the table by the time my colleagues reach to the place. it is always a memorable experience to visit peshavari.

it can safely be said that peshwari serves the best moghlai/north indian food in mumbai. the place is always teeming with people from various nations waiting to have a go at the amazing indian cuisine they have heard so much about.  the staff encourages you to eat with your hands in the traditional indian way and i believe that's how it is enjoyed best. it takes a little time to get served, maybe because of the elaborate preparation and arrangements but the end product is just wow! we have taken our european colleagues for dinner several times and they relish everything that we order. it has now become a practice with us to order more than one portion of malai kabab as it is a delicacy and everyone loves the marinated tender chicken with its rich flavour. if you enjoy lamb, their signature dish is the sikandari raan, but we decided to try the peshawari kabab this time and the grilled delicacy was a delight. loved dal bukhara or black lentils and enjoyed it with an assortment  of indian bread consisting of tandoori roti, pudina parantha and garlic naan. it was awesome as always. since our guests wanted to try dessert, we made them try the kulfi with falooda. always a great pleasure dining there.

peshawri has been the go to place to celebrate family events since i was a child. kastoori kebab, seekh kebab, dal makhani and murg makhani are a must try. however, lately the service has been falling short of our expectations. hoping for an improved experience the next time i visit.

a beautiful place with delicious food. the staff is extremely professional and friendly, and makes sure you're having a good time. kadak seekh kebab, dal bukhara, murgh makhani and pudina paratha are a must try.

peshawri is more about experiential dining, and once you're there you feel like you're in the northern frontier. the music and the entire setting just complements to the whole feel. highly highly recommend!

it is an expensive place to be! dishes here be it starters or main course, nothing is less than 2.3k/dish. the food is tasty. we ordered peshawari kabab which is mutton - perfectly made, kasturi kabab- chicken, daal bukhara, stuffed naan, khasta naan and pudina paratha. all the 3 types of bread were very hard. one expects a roti/naan to be soft and edible.. they were like papad.
the seats are not very comfortable as there is no back rest. they need to do something about it.
