pepe delgados

the last time i had been to pepe delgados they were still in their old location. i have been wanting to go there since i have moved back to oklahoma and tonight was the night. when we walked in the door we noticed how much larger they were and that now they have a full bar. before they just sold a few beers. the interior was beautiful and had the same ambiance as a nice full service restaurant like a bj’s. i paused at the door for a second thinking that a hostess was going to come up soon to seat us and give us menus. i then looked in the back and noticed themenuboard in the back with a sign showing where to place the order. they still are using the fast casual concept. art at pepe delgados bar at pepe delgados we looked over themenuand i was glad that themenudidn’t change much. the items i remember from before were still there and they added a few more items as well. their kitchen looked to be a lot bigger than i remember

good for a change. not your usual tex-mex. there are no basket of chips/salsa provided,menuitems are not traditional tex-mex items per se. you order from the counter and they bring food to you. they have full bar service and an excellent environment on norman's campus corner. parking can be a challenge, but they have a dedicated lot just to the north, just tell the attendant that you are going to pepe's. my opinion, the second best margarita in town, food is always fresh and good, owner is usually on premises.

the best. love everything about this place! authentic, delicious and outstanding salsa. have mexican cokes and other mexican sodas which is a plus. wish they had a little moremenuitems but their specials make up for it.

make no mistakes, this is authentic folks -- there is no substitute. take your bangin' tex-mex themed tongues and go elsewhere if that's what you desire.

one of the metro's very best!. all fresh healthy ingredients, a variedmenufor all tastes, including vegetarians. delicious meals with huge portions. friendly owner & staff. a tastefully decorated space that accommodates various sizes of parties comfortably. a very nice patio too. we eat here at least weekly & have only ever had excellent hearty meals here. this place welcomes all generations, colors, & classes, so it is in some sense the heart of norman.

this is not the correct menu. i ordered using themenufound on urbanspoon 9-13-11. aside from the initial aggravation, the staff as very understanding and promptly corrected our order. the food is excellent. the staff is polite and laid back. i will definitely be eating here again.
