patty wagon

first time to try the patty wagon. we tried the one on 35th and may,. so disappointed, shouldn't of tried this location first, left a bad first impression. dirty, workers very unprofessional, very unkept. hamburger was good. fries were just little pieces. don't think we will try it again.

the wait was very long, the ice machine was broken, the tables were old and junky, the fries were dark soggy and flavorless. the hamburger buns were toasted way too long and the hamburger while it had potential for good flavor you killed it a second time by cooking it to very well which then dried it out. thankful i had a groupon to try this out so i didn't waste more money. will not go back.

best burger in okc. i've tried every place people mention because i love burgers. people claim nics as the best but patty wagon is hands down best burger in okc. not the fastest to prepare but well worth the time to wait

i will be back. i tried the blue cheese/bacon burger with fries. the burger was well seared on the outside, yet juicy on the inside. the fries were well done, with a light sprinkle of kosher salt on the outside. both were tasty - better than tuckers. nothing fancy here, just a pretty good burger. the price ($7.50) for the burger however, may hinder their sales.

2nd time here, i had forgot how good it was . we both had hamb that had the bacon, grilled onions and bbq on sweet bun. sweet tea good also! not fancy place but service good , owner friendly.

wildly impressed! had a really great meal. highly recommend the bbq sauce and a chocolate milkshake! the burgers and hand cut fries were some of the best i've ever had. we will happily go back!

i have not had the opportunity to be a patron here. curiosity compelled me to google it and find these reviews. i remember this iconic building as a thriving national fast food chain and love the "rocky" aspect of a local david defeats corporate goliath in their own real estate..... i find it curious that there is a january to september gap in reviews. are local restaurant conglomerate propaganda agents getting lazy or do we blame the average joe for no reviews? tucker's sucks let's be honest... no bacon ?!? soggy buns, limp fries... is this patty wagon the real deal? gimme the rundown.

patty wagon. we ate there on 09/07/2013 at 7pm , they were not busy at all maybe 6 booths which of three only had two people and the others had four. a guy named matt was there and all he was doing was running around trying to act as a big shot talking very loud and not doing anything productive. before we received our order this guy called matt came to our table an apologized for taking so long and said when we came back ask for him and what ever we wanted would be on the house. when we finally got our order we were missing an order of fries and we finished our meal before we got the other order. both orders of fries were cooked in old grease, the hamburgers were good by far not the best the top of the buns were burnt black we will not go back even for the promised free meal. sorry matt you blew it. get better organized i wish you the very best.

good not great. good burgers, fries are just so-so. good service and friendly people but i like flatire or smashburger a little more,

i love this place and its unfortunate that people that don't understand how someone could give a bad review definitely the best burger in okc hands down...yes including 5 guys, s&b's, and irma's .

something's not right here. i became a fan of patty wagon when they were an actual wagon at may and grand. i followed them to may and hefner and then to may and 36th. today i had such an impossibly bad experience i will never return. my visit took almost an hour and a half. a gentleman and his son who came in a good 15-20 minutes after me and received their food about 1 or 2 minutes after i received mine got a profuse apology over their wait when their food was delivered and another profuse apology as they left after eating. the owner gave them their next lunch free. for me? nothing -- though, as i said i waited much longer than they -- than anyone else in the building -- did. with all the time i waited, the burger was unexplainably not hot. the fries were good. that's the only positive note i can add to this miserable experience. this business has some serious issues in need of addressing.

warning:amazing burgers which corrupt vegetarians.... my son has been a strict vegetarian for two years. however, when it comes to a patty wagon burger, he cannot resist!!!

great quality burgers and amazing hand-cut fries!!!

great local beef!. the mushroom and swiss was awesome. personnel are very service oriented and make sure that their guests are satisfied. don't waste your time going to any other places for a good burger. compared to flat tire on a scale of 1-10, the patty wagon restaurant is at least 5 points higher in service, 6 points higher in quality, 4 points higher in value, and 9 points higher in being bad to the bone.

excellent burger. the bun was perfect and the sea(?) salt on the fries was perfect. would definitely go again when in town. the only thing bad was there is no sign by the road so it easy to miss.

ate there for the first time tonight. awesome burger. the best i've ever had. seriously good. high quality beef. the bun is delicious - not just some bread sack bun like everyone else has. i can't wait to eat there again. i wish i would have found this place earlier.
