seafood ponchartrain. excellent fish preparation and presentation. the fish of the day was redfish, not tilapia or something like that. real seafood! the side was garlic smashed potatoes and included a side salad. all for less than $20. i have paid much more and gotten a whole lot less in terms of quality. great meal.

awesome!. i have eaten here on more than one occasion. the food is delicious, the service is outstanding and i truly enjoy the rustic atmosphere. 5 stars!

we love it!!!. my husband and i love parrain's. we are lucky because it is convenient to where we live. it is probably the best seafood in baton rouge and at a very reasonable price. their specials are usually very good also. dessert is killer. suffice it to say that we are regulars. my husband drives a cab and when people ask for recommendations on where to eat, parrain's is on the top of the list.

much thought was put into the making of what turned out to be a difficult list. when i first started compiling the list i thought it would be easy; but as it turns out, baton rouge has much to offer in terms of dining. for the sake of the list, i left out

service was terrible! my food was barely heated, the crawfish were mushy, and the rice was hard. i will not be visiting here again any time soon.

"yummy" i had the pecan crusted drum...such a large portion i couldn't order dessert!

great seafood. love it! but be aware they fly in peanut oil! the fried catfish, shrimp and hushpuppies are awesome. i love their tabasco pepper jelly salad dressing.
