classic. the fatboy with fries has been a favourite of mine for about 20 years. the fries are good. the burger is top shelf. 8.8/10.

used to be my "go to" place for a fat boy, fries, and a side of chili. after the owner's homophobic remarks, i "go to" dairy delight.

get with the times!. its time to get with the times georges! charging for people to use debit is not right.

the burgers are okay but i'd much rather go to red top, vj's or tbp.

george's is a good place to eat.. original george's is a great place to eat, i love love love their chicken fingers with honey dill sauce on the side with a caesar salad, though if you get the caesar salad if your by yourself i recommend you get a starter caesar salad as the regular salad size is rather huge enough for 2 or 3 people, unless you like a lot to eat then have at it. their burgers are huge as well and very yummy, you would definitely have to go to george's hungry or you'll end up bringing stuff home with you, which can still be a good thing. and staff is very good to, they are nice and up beat and know the menu well.

great. best georges in the city at this location. food is simple, portions are huge and price is great. definitely the best burger place in winnipeg!

only the st.vital location!. why does every other location have inferior food and staff? this location is easily the best burger in winnipeg. over 23 visits and never a bad meal or experience. yet we go to any other location and it's like i'm in another part of the world, not even close to the original location...... too bad. i love this restaurant.

awesome food! huge servings but service is hit and miss. they are so in demand, sometimes they don't answer the phone.

shame on you george. this is easily one my favorite burger joints in winnipeg. unfortunately due to recent comments made by the owner (george ifandis) in a news article i have chosen to take my business elsewhere.

food and service was good. chili cheese fries were subpar. overall experience good. this restaurant is ranked higher than it should be on urbanspoon top burger joints. dairy delight should be tops.

a good greasy spoon. if your looking for a burger and fries this place will fit the bill though it is not the best out there. booths and chair dining, seats about 40. at regular dining times expect a line up. parking is good. a big downer is the smell of the grease. i have not smelt a greasyer place. love the fries and chillie. milkshakes came in an old milk bottle at one point but they changed that. did have an issue with a burger not cooked enough. instead of acknowledging that fact, the waitress stated it was red spices though she did not charge me for it. expect large portions but also abit higher prices. expect also added on fees to use their debet machine.. if you count your pennies, bring cash. 3.5 out of 5 stars

love this place. great place to fill up on good food for less money than going to the tepid tasting food courts.
we've been there several times when in town and never disappointed.
staff has always been attentive and friendly.

for the price, george offers great value for the burgers. all burgers come with chilli, onions, mustard and pickles; the fatboy also includes shredded lettuce, fresh tomato slices, mayo and cheese. the subtle-tasting chilli acts as a nice complement to the burger without taking over the tastes. a lot of chilli burgers have too much chilli, which ends up dominating the sandwich; george has the perfect ratio to accent the meat.
