overrated. out of all the great burger places in winnipeg, george's is the worst on the list. their chilli has zero flavour, their fries are very good, but fries do not carry their menu. the fat boy is the staple, and it's just not what it used to be. now it's a flavourless bland hunk of meat with flavourless chili and some condiments. the portions are still large, the price is typical for this type of burger joint, but the quality just isn't there.

great place for a quick burger and fries. i go often and i've never once had a bad experience. i'm not sure why people come on here to complain about it not being healthy. if you want to eat healthy dining out is not the way, especially at georges. it's better and way more fresh than many fast food chain restaurants.

huge portions and delicious food! my go to item is the chicken pita and it is fantastic. this is one of the best i've had in the city.  the platters are big enough to split between two people.

i had the chicken souvalki platter today. the souvlaki was excellent. huge chucnks of tomatoes. the fries are almost too much for one person and are a meal unto themselves. you get what seems like 3 - 4 times the amount of fries that you would get at a chain fast food place. you also get a salad. for $11.50, it's a good deal.

we dined here yesterday for an early dinner.  the place was packed, that was a good sign.  i enjoyed my fat boy and fries – what a delicious burger!  the fries were fresh and crispy.  we also shared an order of onion rings, cooked to perfection!  my dining partner enjoyed a chicken souvalki wrap with fries.  they commented that the tzatziki sauce was blande.  our service was just right.  they took our orders quick, brought our food promptly, and refilled our drinks as needed.  overall, this was a great place to grab a burger and fries, and the menu offers so much more so we may just have to go back! my only warning is they do not accept mastercard so be aware.

hands down the best burger joint in the city!  awesome food and even better service.  those milkshakes.. i'm going to get fat bringing new people here to show them how great it is.

always my go to for a fatboy! nothing beat it, i tried a burger from five guys, and it's definitely up there but nothing beat a georges fatboy.

we go here all the time. fast service, good food, large portions and reasonably priced. not easy to pick a healthy option with their delicious burgers and fries though! breakfasts are a steal at the price as well. would definitely recommend.

a fatboy is definitely the way to go if you're checking out george's! that's what they're known for, why would you order anything else! homemade fries are a hit as well.

simple. i like to go to george's for nice and easy food. stuff i could pick up at some fast food joint but i know at george's the flavour and quality will be there!

will never eat breakfast here again!. i've been to georges before for burgers and fries and quite enjoyed it so i thought i would try their breakfast. bad mistake! it was overpriced, undercooked and under seasoned. we didn't finish our meal and told the lady at the cash that we weren't happy. she proceeded to chastise us on how we should have said something earlier in front of customers! she didn't care! she could clearly see we didn't eat everything! i won't go back there all because of how she treated us!

food great, service not-so great.. this is my second time going. i don't remember such bad service my first visit, hence why i came back. the food was still quality and enjoyable, but the servers did not match this. i came in unsure of whether they would seat me or i would set myself. when i asked, they acted offended and told me to find a booth. the rest of the time they blatantly ignored me, aside from bringing me menus and a water until the rest of my party showed up. from there it was curt responses, and strained smiles. i work in customer service and can completely understand a server's daily struggles, but we did nothing to deserve this kind of attitude. go for the amazing food, if nothing else.

a not-so good experience. i went to georges with my husband and we both ordered the same dish which was the chicken dinner. we received our order and it looked semi-appealing. than we began to eat and the chicken had so much fat in it, it made me want to throw up. they had rice on the side and it was cold and i'm pretty sure it was uncle bens. their salad was ok and the fries were ok. on the side of our meals there was garlic toast and it was terrible. it tasted like the pan (metal) it was terrible. we also realized that the forks and knifes they gave us were dirty. this experience was terrible and all i can think is what happened because georges was so good at one point.

ordered the cheese dog for the first time last night, along with what was supposed to be a small fries and a started ceasar. the fries were great, as per usual. the salad and hot dog, not so much. i would still come back, as the burgers and milkshakes are some of the best in the city. so if your stuck choosing between a cheeseburger or a cheese dog, go with the burger!

yummy!. had a pregnancy craving for chicken fingers and honey dill. got my boyfriend to stop at the st vital george's location to satisfy this craving. food was delicious, as usual.
boyfriend had the fatboy platter which he loved.

will be back when the craving strikes again!!
