excellent service. thefoodis good, but extremely costly for what you receive. i have had similar quality seafood at much lower prices elsewhere in the city. would not order anything except fish and sea food; have had lamb there once and it was overcooked and inedible.

the only restaurant who really knows how to do fish in a sea salt. must go. mostly all theirefoodis fresh and 65% is organic made fresh in theire kitchen. went 6 times and i love the milos tower (zucchini and tsaziki ) its theire specialty and the fish. desert is good service is excellent and ambiance its suitable for all kind of people. pretty spacious the place and open kitchen concept.

milos, is a montreal institution and great success story in the world of restaurateurs. it can be counted amongst the few who over time, not only have survived, but expanded and morphed into something better than the original concept. for over thirty-five years it has dominated the realm of greekfoodin a city that is not only discerning but discriminating when it comes to dining out. from its humble beginnings, it has grown into an empire that spans across the globe. including locations in new york, miami, las vegas, athens and london.

when a restaurant has a lunch special, you go. when a fancy restaurant has a lunch special, y'all have no choice, you freaking go! actually, jer bear, lea and i were totes excited to eat at this korean resto not far from milos, but it was closed! grrr. i hate it when that happens. we started walking towards st-viateur and noticed milos. jer said 'hey, they have a lunch special. and so, greekfoodit was!

an expensive disappointment. my partner and i visited montreal recently and read the rave reviews about milos. we entered ready for an interesting and creative dining experience but instead were deeply disappointed. from appetizers to salad to main course - nothing special. yes, thefoodseemed fresh and was decently cooked but you can get that at your local eatery for 1/4 the price. the mystery is why all the raves? as far as i'm concerned, "the emperor has no clothes".

other than the over-cooked red snapper, milos lived up to my lofty expectations. my colleagues had talked in glowing terms about thefoodat milos and, overall, it didn't disappoint.

good food, great service, but.... good greek food, but a bit overpriced in my opinion. the service is good and thefoodis nicely plated, fresh and tasty, but i find the venue and the presentation (and clientele) a bit too self-conscious. i would eat there willingly, but might select one of the other less pretentious greek seafood places first if it was up to me.

disappointing. ok i know we were there for the late night special and i don't expect the same degree of amazingness that other reviewers have talked about but milos was really disappointing. my partner ordered the tuna burger - it could have been mystery meat for all we knew. it didn't look like tuna and it didn't taste like tuna. i ordered the lobster pasta because none of the other choices were very inspiring. it was $15 more than the set price. very lacklustre. it's a lovely looking restaurant and our waiters were nice but thefoodwas a real letdown. i'm all for the late night menus that montreal restaurants are offering but i think it's fair to say that compared to lemeac and other late nighters, milos is way off the pace.

i went to milos for the very first time last week. i went with my girlfriend for a romantic supper and almost everything was perfect. all thefoodwas superb except the greek salad appetizer was waaaaay to salty (and i like salt!). still good nonetheless. the only other comment i have is that the ambiance could have been a bit more cozy (especially considering it was for a dinner service) if they dimmed the lighting somewhat. very bright in there! aside from that, no complaints. great service, great decor and delicious food!

my personal top favourite greek fare in mtl. while philinos is my favourite greek restaurant for food, milos is top favourite all-rounder greek restaurant because it covers and balances perfectly well all i like about a restaurant: awesome cuisine, beautiful layout, classy service.

on my visits there, i had try several fish dishes (always fresh, savourish and very interesting variety of top quality fishes), but had a soft spot for the grilled octopus (octopus in the hands of a weak chef can be a disaster, and that's how i started to measure the great talent of milos's chef -> his octopus is brillantly cooked, at perfect tenderness and with a taste that drives your palet happy ;p).
i've got to point this out: their seafood is so fresh that you would litteraly think there was a little fishing village right next door..litteraly!

very courteous staff with high standards of service. ask them about anything that's on their menu, and you will be amazed by how precise are their knowledge about cuisine, their menu,foodand so on. mind you, that is what you expect from such high caliber restaurant.
