excellent ambience, awesomefoodandfoodchoices. the service was courteous and good. only reason for not getting 5 stars is the speed of service, took me half an hour just to get their meaty nachos.
if you love mexicanfoodand salsa dance, this is the best place to be in the vicinity.

great interiors. quesadillas are fantastic. also enjoyed the fajitas and soft tacos. although a bit pricey for cebu, thefoodand experience are well worth it. highly recommended.

three of us went for maya having had a good impression of abaca group's restos. i've been craving for mexicanfoodso maya was our first choice.
we ordered nachos for an appetizer, ensalada de la calle, asada fajitas and costillas de maya.

i liked costillas de maya- pork ribs barbecue was tasty enough for me although my hubby promises that even he can cook them better. apparently, he didn't like them.

nachos were so so because the chips quickly became soggy.

my hubby said that asada fajitas was ok, one can tell that they source good meat but, unfortunately, there was not anything special to it.

the salad was not very impressive and it is a shame that they only have one salad on their menu.

overall, the price tag was not quite commensurate to ourfoodexperience, so we probably will not be going there anytime soon.

(*a little downer that we experienced was how the blackout was managed: the lights went off twice during our stay and the first time it lasted good 5-7 mins! the room became very warm immediately and the staff acted like it was a usual thing, no apologies. imho, for a restaurant that charges that much we would expect them to manage it better- should they have used better generators the brown out time could last less that a minute.)

you pay for quality. if you're craving for mexicanfoodthen maya is the place for you. the best time to be there is around 8pm until they close. but the place is a bit dark for photos so a lot of flash is needed for the perfect shot.

thefooddid not disappoint! ordered the tomato soup and pescado tacos and it was indeed a great duo! go here if you want to get a good fix of your mexicanfoodcravings. will be back for their drinks next time!

maya is one of those resto’s in cebu that offers unique ambiance. it has a decent interior from finishes to furnitures that is very instagrammable to anyone who loves taking pictures.
the kind of vibe it offers is a mixture of modern lifestyle with a mixture of mexican traditional music and dances.
for the food, they have arrays of goodfoodand has a very reasonable price.
selected drinks on selected days of the week are offered in a buy one get one promo. a must try!

this place has the best mexicanfoodin cebu. the atmosphere is very nice and the staff quite friendly. i am looking forward to coming back. the only negative i have is the size of the tortillas and that everything that usually accompanies a main dish (ie: frajitas) is considered a side and is extra. other than that, its a nice place and i expect to bring family and friends here.

me and my friend came to this restaurant to appease our mexicanfoodcravings. quite pricey but somehow worth the cost. foodwise - i'm not really familiar with mexican taste however i was not disappointed. their in-house signature beer was a blast. ambiance - very romantic, dim-lights were in very classy taste. perfect for couples on a date. and the interior design was very impressive as well. service - the waiters were very accommodating, none of them were slacking off. plus points for that. overall, a memorable night.

the time we came they had promo for 1-1 mojito. we ordered a lot of food. so far the priciest mexican restaurant i’ve ever been too. however, thefoodnever disappoint. the place is cozy with unique interiors and dim yellowish lighting.

i love the interior. the chandeliers and high ceiling looked glam. the light was dim, perfect for dates and intimate conversations. a bit pricey, but their servings were huge so you get your money's worth (well, we already ate so we just ordered dessert and drinks but we were seated by the stairs so i could see what the servers were carrying). a mango cheesecake worth p250 est was already good for 2 so we just bought one and shared. i loved it because it was not too sweet and tastes delicious! it took some time for my mango daiquiri to arrive but when it did, i was disappointed that such a fancy place would put my frozen mango daiquiri in an ordinary-looking glass. yeah, like the ones found in eateries. no cocktail glass for a drink that could almost buy a bucket of rh eh? to be fair, the drink was really good- i could taste just the right mixture of bacardi and mango. i'd definitely come back to taste their mexicanfoodnext time!
