friendlystaffand great relaxed service. a great place to have a drink and a few nibbles. the fit out has changed over the years and is interesting. will be back.

amazing. we had a hens party booking for dinner and cocktails on the weekend at lychee lounge and they completely exceeded our expectations. the food and drinks were amazing but most importantly, the attentivestaffwere extremely good at their jobs and made our hen have the best time. from the moment we first contacted lychee lounge, the entire process was smooth and effortless, and thestaffwent out of their way to make the night personalised and special. highly recommend!!

if you are not under 35 you probably don't belong there.
cocktails are good andstaffknow what they are doing.
beer was ok  but overpriced compared with other places in west end.

went to the lychee lounge for drinks with a friend. bar has a great atmosphere and vibe about it. cocktails were amazing and thestaffwere super friendly. definitely would recommend!

we held my wife's 40th birthday function at the lychee lounge on the weekend. thestaffcouldn't do enough for us throughout the entire night and were so friendly and helpful. we ordered a swag of food off the menu including a number of the platters containing a mix of hot and cold food. the quantity of food was very impressive as was the quality. it was exceptional value for money. i would certainly recommend the lychee lounge for everything from a quick drink through to a function like the one that we just had. we were very happy with our choice!!

lychee lounge has been a favourite brisbane spot of mine for years. i love the cocktails. i loved thestaffand the atmosphere. i went tonight to celebrate a long week of hard work. i arrived and went to the bar and said hello cutely and asked for a drinks menu. i was questioned "how many drinks have you had tonight?" i replied, confused, that i hadn't had any and that this was the first bar i had been to. i was denied service, being told that i seemed intoxicated and i wasn't going to be served and neither would my partner. both of us were completely sober. i was disgusted and shocked. i left and was considerably irritated and quite offended as i walked down the street. i decided to go back to ask for an email address to complain to the owner of the establishment about the incredibly offensive manner of which i was treated but was hustled outside of the bar and told that voicing my opinion was grounds to label me as "disorderly." i have never been so offended in my entire life. it was one of my number one spots but this one incident of misjudgement and ignorance has ruined the place for me. it goes to show that while the place may have amazing drinks, customer service goes a long way, something the manager needs to improve on greatly if he wants to keep his loyal customers around.

classy cocktails!. this is a great place for quiet relaxing drinks in the afternoon. lovely barstaffand delicious cocktails - i recommend the espresso martini! nice sophisticated decor and ambiance, a great place to catch up and lose track of time!

fantastic service!staffalways kind, informative and willing to accommodate my food intolerances. food is very tasty and great quality! since the first time i ate at lychee lounge in october i've been back at least 5 times.. can't keep my hands off the pork belly! definitely a 10/10 restaurant and bar!

lychee lounge was absolutely delicious! i would recommend the kipfler potatoes, croquettes and sourdough! the cocktails we ordered were strong and tasty.
the only downfall was the rudestaffwhich was a little disappointing.

i went here with a group for my friends birthday and found one malestaffmember in particular to be extremely rude and arrogant - to the point in which we seriously considered going elsewhere, we were so begrudged to spend our money at the bar. my friend was slightly late for her booking to which the waiter showed extreme frustration and humiliated her by questioning whether 'she even had any friends coming?!' she was almost in tears when i arrived. he proceeded to act like this the entire night with much of the group noticing. while the otherstaffwere good and the drinks delicious it was dimmed as thisstaffmember is the main memory our group has of the night. word to the manager - don't forget that yourstaffare the face of your business. make sure they don't misrepresent you!

after our great first experience at lychee lounge we decided to take a few friends from sydney there for dinner on saturday night. this visit was very dissapointing. service was cold and rude, we sent back a flat glass of bubbles, only to be told "it's chandon" in a condescending tone. we ordered a heap of the tapas share plates asking that they come out a few at a time so we could continue with wine and drinks and make a night of it. after waiting 45 minutes all our dishes hit the table at once withstafflining up with plates that wouldn't fit on the table while we tried to make room. it felt as if we were being treated like crap because we asked to have the dishes bought out over time. to make matters worse 3 of the dishes we ordered were not available and we were not told until the food started to arrive. the food we had was nice, but to try and balance plates and eat was not a nice experience. i'm happy to give lychee lounge another go, but perhaps we will go on a quiet week night and order dishes 1 at a time so as not to confuse the waitstaffor the kitchen.

great food and delicious cocktails. the vesper was one of the nicest i've ever had. the tapas plates where perfect size and full of flavor. pork belly was especially good, as was the honey crushed potato chips. service was a bit too cool for school, but the food, drinks and decor made up for it.

staff too trendy to do their job.. i would normally rave about the lychee lounge, the service used to be great and the drinks even greater. last night i journeyed there with my boyfriend to celebrate us moving in together. we waited over half an hour for 1 drink each (i kidd you not!), while we were waiting, we watched the barman flirt with the waitress, go and have a ciggarette, make a drink for himself and his friend and the walk out of the venue.

not only did he forget our 2 drink order when he came back, we were not refunded or given any sort of compensation for the time we had wasted.

punters, go to "sling bar" up the road, the drinks are better, the atmosphere is nicer and thestaffaren't too trendy to do their job.
