wow! thisplacedoes the best cocktails in brisbane. ben was a great host and everyone is really friendly. huge range of cocktails and cute venue. perfect for a night out or a sneaky drink after work!

really cute, cosy bar with friendly staff. their latest cocktail menu is amazing as is their food. thisplaceis great for some relaxed cocktails and nibbles. one of my favourite places in brisbane.

lychee lounge has been a favourite brisbane spot of mine for years. i love the cocktails. i loved the staff and the atmosphere. i went tonight to celebrate a long week of hard work. i arrived and went to the bar and said hello cutely and asked for a drinks menu. i was questioned "how many drinks have you had tonight?" i replied, confused, that i hadn't had any and that this was the first bar i had been to. i was denied service, being told that i seemed intoxicated and i wasn't going to be served and neither would my partner. both of us were completely sober. i was disgusted and shocked. i left and was considerably irritated and quite offended as i walked down the street. i decided to go back to ask for an email address to complain to the owner of the establishment about the incredibly offensive manner of which i was treated but was hustled outside of the bar and told that voicing my opinion was grounds to label me as "disorderly." i have never been so offended in my entire life. it was one of my number one spots but this one incident of misjudgement and ignorance has ruined theplacefor me. it goes to show that while theplacemay have amazing drinks, customer service goes a long way, something the manager needs to improve on greatly if he wants to keep his loyal customers around.

unfortunately i had to delete my previous positive review raving about the food.... as you have completed changed your menu for the worse :( what happened to the popcorn shrimp and amazing shoe string fries? we were disappointed to discover the menu had completed changed. lychee lounge no longer have the best chips in brisbane. they've been replaced with rock-hard potato wedge things (you know the type that are so firm, you can hardly bite into them?!) the popcorn shrimp is no longer offered.. or the teriyaki chicken skewers...they've been replaced with really bad deep fried chicken and crumbed broccoli. yuck! don't take any notice of the menu that has been uploaded to zomato, as it no longer exists :( so so disappointed as this was our favouriteplacefor food. service is still outstanding, however unfortunately we don't be returning after eating such awful food!

all i have to say is churro's! went for dessert and had the best churro's. they were light and had the right amount of sugar on the outside and a lovely brandy chocolate sauce. service was good. the cocktails being served looked amazing and theplacewas pumping. i'm definitely going to come back and do drinks and dinner. get the whole experience.

classy cocktails!. this is a greatplacefor quiet relaxing drinks in the afternoon. lovely bar staff and delicious cocktails - i recommend the espresso martini! nice sophisticated decor and ambiance, a greatplaceto catch up and lose track of time!

there's probably better. if you're after cocktails and snacks, this is theplacefor you. if you're after more of a meal, try somewhere else. trainee waiter didn't seem to care or know what he was doing. chicken skewers were not cooked (plain dangerous), steak was overcooked and wine had to be asked for 3 times. have to say that they were generous when we complained but sad that we had too. disappointing as i had been wanting to try here for a while.

i was looking for somewhere to dine on a monday night. occurred to me the lychee lounge used to me good. i haven't been to thisplacefor about 12 years, and man, those cocktails are better than i remembered. i am a restaurant owner myself so my expectations are pretty high. it was a monday night, very quiet, but the cool funky music gave nice vibe. the two guys working we're extremely attentive and friendly, but not ott. we had the tapas. excellent. cant speak highly enough.i'm thrilled thisplacehasn't gone downhill over the years. i'm in love...

heading for a cocktail. i have always been happy here. the decor is very west end, and the cocktails are generally good. niceplaceto sit and watch the street with an ice cold one in your hand.

drinks and then some. having made great effort to survey the cocktail offerings in west end, i've been generally disappointed but my orders at lychee lounge have been pretty decent. although they have a large selection of cocktails, i have found them a little bit hit and miss. mint juleps at thisplacehave been consistently strong and delicious!

although would not come specifically for food, tapas selection is pretty good, experimental, and varied.

definitely a keeper--top pick of the neighborhood.
