i've loved this place since i discovered it back in 2002.

the venue possesses some kind of wicked charm with its bizarre décor. from the quirky barbie-doll-head chandeliers... to its oriental touches, and most importantly, a superb range of cocktails, this stylish cocktail bar is worth a visit.

fav lounge of all. this place is great - been there twice now, once in 2008 when i was already half cut and again in 2011 sober. it was even better than i remembered it, and i already had a fantastic opinion.

hahaha this is so true, we sat down in the middle, and after about 4mins a friend raised that it sounded like we were broadcasting over a loud speaker. luckily other seats came spare and we took our opportunity to move...

awesome casual cocktail lounge setting. spent a random night there till close recently. i talked, ate, & drunk the night away. very busy but it's obvious why!

fantastic!. i absolutely love lychee lounge. the cocktail list is incredible, and for the odd cocktail that isnt on there, they are more than happy to make it for you!

i never really considered getting food there, until one day we were so busy chatting and enjoying our cocktails we missed how late it was, and decided to order some food.
we were pleasantly surprised - the food was delicious and reasonably priced, which can be very hard to find in small boutique bars!

i completely disagree with a review earlier about choosing sling over lychee lounge - yes, lychee lounge has a bit of a wait for drinks (it is completely packed from about 7pm onwards, and you often need a booking, especially if there is more than two people), but the wait is completely worth it. i have never waited more than 15 mins for a drink, and that was in their busiest time. there is also table service, so the time you would normally spent waiting at the bar is cut out!
sling, the cocktail bar across the road, in comparison has watered down drinks, even if they are cheaper and quicker. definitely not worth it.

staff too trendy to do their job.. i would normally rave about the lychee lounge, the service used to be great and the drinks even greater. last night i journeyed there with my boyfriend to celebrate us moving in together. we waited over half an hour for 1 drink each (i kidd you not!), while we were waiting, we watched the barman flirt with the waitress, go and have a ciggarette, make a drink for himself and his friend and the walk out of the venue.

not only did he forget our 2 drink order when he came back, we were not refunded or given any sort of compensation for the time we had wasted.

punters, go to "sling bar" up the road, the drinks are better, the atmosphere is nicer and the staff aren't too trendy to do their job.

try the crusta!. a great cocktail bar, one of brisbane's best. the best brandy crusta in town.

lychee martini. i have been drinking lychee martinis here for almost 10 years. always delicious.

timeless. this place never gets old. great for pre-dinner drinks. extensive cocktail menu.

cocktails. great cocktail list. the only thing i've eaten here was a banana bread dessert on a quiet sunday night, and it was amazing!

it's a little too busy on a friday and saturday night, but that shows they're doing something well!
