louie's wine dive

my first visit to louie’s winedivein waldo was a very pleasant one. from the owners to the servers and bartenders, everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful, and they all wanted us to be happy with our experience. we were there on a monday evening, during happy hour. i had heard that the noise in the restaurant can be deafening when full, but fortunately we were there at a time when it wasn’t packed, and they were playing great old tunes from the 70s and 80s. we could also see their unique wine program in action. they have a printed wine list, but also sell many bottles that are only listed on the big blackboard display. unlike most restaurants that sell certain wines by the glass and others only by the bottle, at louie’s they will open any bottle even if not typically offered by the glass as long as the diner/sipper commits to buying two glasses. every monday they have a fire sale with discounted glasses of wine that they need to move after a w

approachable wine list and excellent food!. warm, yet energetic ambiance! the wine list is thoughtful and very approachable. the menu offers a range, but is not overwhelming - something for everyone. the shortribs are simply delicious! highly recommended to try.

best new place in kc!!. i always enjoy my experiences at louie's wine dive. the recently new restaurant has a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere making wining and dining fun and the coolest place to be seen in kc. louie's winediveoffers a large variety of delicious entrees in addition to their diverse wine list. but even if wine isn't your interest their drink list has much to offer as well. louie's winediveis the perfect place to catch late night drinks with friends with their convenient late hours. i would recommend louie's winediveto anyone.

just go to louie's already!!!. you won't regret your night at louie's wine dive. the atmosphere is casual and inviting. the selection of wines is top notch with something for every taste and budget. the food is expertly crafted and very flavorful with a homemade touch. the wine pairing that was recommended with the meal was excellent. i am learning about wines and louie's has made my experience a joy. there is no pretense about the staff toward those that do not know wines. the wine flights allow you to experience something new that you would not otherwise know about or even try. the pumpkin soufflé was the perfect way to conclude my meal. i will become a louie's winediveregular.
