i have to say that i have enjoyed being here. the food is amazing and the service here is amazing. you might even get a song with diner if your lucky.

used to like it!. i miss the old cafe lou lou (i believe it was on frankfort) i had a wonderful meal and loved the atmosphere the first time i ate at this restaurant years ago. the building had character and it was a relaxed environment with amazing food. imagine my shock when i returned to town and (after raving to my bf about it) i found it had moved to a strip mall and had lost all of it's charm and uniqueness. it feels like just another restaurant inside now. and sadly yes- this affected the way my food tasted! they have completely changed the atmosphere and not for the better.

delicious food. running errands in st. matthews and tried cafe lou lou on sears ave. for the first time. i loved it! the linguine with meatballs was excellent. i ordered the small portion which turned out to be large. the parking lot only had a few cars in it at 11:20am but i went in anyway. so glad i did. less than 15 minutes later the place was full. the waitress was attentive and friendly. the cafe had a cool, artsy feel to it. i plan on having lunch there again this week.

delicious heart-warming, down-home cajún cooking! friendly waiting staff, and a cozing atmosphere. i highly reccomend the andoille sausage gumbo.

disappointed again. was here years ago and didn't care for the food. when i got my lasagna last night, which looked beautiful, the taste of "that spice" reminded me of why i don't care for the food. seems like they put this weird spice in all the dishes i order. my beautiful steaming hot lasagne was bad enough that i barely ate it and asked for a box. i took it home and threw it out.

terrible service average food. wait staff very slow through entire meal. arrived very excited to eat here left wishing i hadn't. if service improves i'll try again, until then i'll stay away. too many better options.

moving day, so we called and got a carry out pizza. chose the hot brown and it was delicious. the restaurant looked interesting so we hope to have a sit down meal there soon.

i love this place. i've been a bunch of times now. i got the shrimp bachi tarragon and it was amazing. service was awesome too! they had accidentally brought me a small instead of a large but compensated by sending me home with a whole other small order. it was very nice.

a louisville original, this restaurant does a great job mixing the owners cajun new orleans roots with their louisville flair. the dishes are skillfully prepared by professionals. i personally love the calzones and the pasta dishes.

awesome! my husband and i ate here for the first time yesterday and we were both very impressed. he ordered the massive 4 cheese canzone with pepperoni and i ordered the chicken carbonara. both meals were perfect and they also had delicious kids meals for our children. very friendly staff as well, great service!

i've made huge orders and small ones but the staff are rude every time. food is mediocre but would rather go elsewhere where my business doesn't irritate them.
