our not-so-new favorite is cafe lou lou. i first discovered cafe lou lou thru a business lunch invitation. following the lead of my colleague i ordered the chicken portabella mushrooom roll. it was freaking awesome. the roll was surprisingly crispy and thin, almost cracker-like and the peppers, and chicken and mushrooms and sauce worked together perfectly. that was at the dundee location. since then, we've visited the st. matt location and love it. we've turned several other couples onto the cafe too, and all have loved it. my problem is that i loved that cpm roll so much that it's hard to try anything different, but i've also had the meatball roll, polenta, and lavash and it's all been wonderful. haven't had thepizzayet, but soon... the beer list alone is worth going for; i especially like the stone ipa. the service has always, i mean always been great.
