great food i got the spinach@tomato lavish, bbq chickenpizzaand 4 cheese ravioli best italian food in louisville by far

our not-so-new favorite is cafe lou lou. i first discovered cafe lou lou thru a business lunch invitation. following the lead of my colleague i ordered the chicken portabella mushrooom roll. it was freaking awesome. the roll was surprisingly crispy and thin, almost cracker-like and the peppers, and chicken and mushrooms and sauce worked together perfectly. that was at the dundee location. since then, we've visited the st. matt location and love it. we've turned several other couples onto the cafe too, and all have loved it. my problem is that i loved that cpm roll so much that it's hard to try anything different, but i've also had the meatball roll, polenta, and lavash and it's all been wonderful. haven't had thepizzayet, but soon... the beer list alone is worth going for; i especially like the stone ipa. the service has always, i mean always been great.

puzzling restaurant. visited a few months back, matt was our bartender. he was very friendly, introduced us to the chef- a young, humble seeming man who prepared us his special of the night. it was reasonably priced and delicious- rare slices of ahi tuna over a crisp jicama slaw. it was a great experience. my wife and i dined the other night, and were not so wowed. the bartender was a tall man who seemed more interested in demeaning the staff than providing good service. our food was sub par at best- the spinach artichokepizzaseemed lazily thrown together, the spinach was crispy to the point of burnt. rather than bug the bartender with our presence, we hastily payed and left. two dining experiences that could not have been more different.

amazing!. my new favorite place! the food was so good! we got the lou loupizzaand the four cheese ravioli with tomato cream sauce. both were to die for! the service was great too. fun atmosphere as well. over all 5 out of 5 for my first time! can't wait to go back and see if it as good as the first time!

it was, overall, a pleasurable experience and i would definitely return on a wednesday for a half price bottle of wine, good company, and perhaps apizzanext time.

good pizza.. it has become a favorite of mine, when it comes to pizza. i've gottenpizzatwice and a wrap the other time. i would recommend theirpizzaor pasta over the sandwiches. it's a fun atmosphere too.

as i want to eatpizzaalmost every meal, i was happy to discover a highly regarded spot that servespizzaand a wide variety of other flavors so that annie can enjoy the meal as well.

today was our first visit, and i'm ashamed to admit i was not in the mood forpizza- so i will have to update my review at another time for that info.

instead we were in the mood for greek, so we tried the hummus, gyro rolls and ended with bread pudding. the food was good and the server cheerfully allowed me to alter a menu item slightly. i was full after eating only half of the densely packed gyro roll, but the bread pudding was so good that only a smear of rum sauce remained.

my only minor complaint is that i just assumed the onions in the gyro would be cooked. the large chunks of raw red onions were a bit strong for me, but the ingredients were fresh and the presentation was pleasing.

as of six hours later, i'm still full and i have half a gyro roll left in the fridge for lunch tomorrow.

next time i will try thepizzaor the calzone. lots of variety on the menu.
