california surfer burrito. i went when the restaurant was empty one saturday night and ordered the california surfer burrito with shrimp and fries. it was wonderful. it was as delicious as a burrito from chipotle but far more interesting. the service was super friendly (it's really a counter service restaurant) and the atmosphere was nice. i really want another california surfer soon!

great taste, could use some more veggetarian options. los cabos was a welcome addition to not only the east end, but pittsburgh in general. bloomfield is definitely lacking in quick, cheap, tasty variety and this fills an enormous void. been here a few times now, and have been consistently impressed with the quality, taste and portions. i have to say, i wish they catered to vegetarians a bit more. considering the execution on the few things that i've had, it's left me craving for more choices. given that it's really easy to have veggie mexican food, and going to a mexican restaurant is usually a sure veggie score, this should be an easy fix.

my favorite! fresh ingredients, not greasy....sooo good! taco truck food always at the ready...note it is cash only but worth the trip to the atm!

yuck. fast service. pork quesadilla literally had no cheese. seasoning on pork wasn't good and the meat was very dry. good music playing. reasonable prices

wonderful mexican food. i have eaten at los cabos many times. loved every visit. the chips and salsa are wonderful and each meal has filled me up for the rest of the day. my husband often asks me to bring home chips and salsa for him.

trendy. high price. standard texmex. took 20 min for waiter to take order. not bad food.

good one!!. great vegetarian options. fresh veggie taco was delicious! their salsa is one to die for!! kudos.. have had many more veggie options here (burritos, enchiladas)- all were great. try the desserts as they have some good ones on the menu.

nice people work here but strange veggie burrito (celery and carrots) that just doesn't work, bland surfin cali burrito, and pollo asado is just salty meat.

big disappointment. if you want good mexican food, this is definately not the place. my first time and really thought i would be happy and satisfied. first, the salsa was more pureed than real mexican salsa should normally be. second, i ordered chili colorado and the red chili had a weird taste and the meat was cheap gristle meat! i picked out a few pieces of meat which was very little, and the mashed beans taste like it was outta the can! although, the owner was friendly even after i told him that i grew up in new mexico where "real" mexican food was made he wasn't so friendly after i made comments after the meal because he stopped over to our table and asked so i told him. if you want good mexican food i have found that "el torro" in zelionople is good and "guiterrez mexican food" in butler, pa. is excellent! well worth the drive! unfortunately, i will not be back to this particular establishment. i will keep trying out new places for good mexican food which i love and miss. good luck!

times change. the first time i went to los cabos was when it first opened and it was great, nice quality food, good service. as time went on the food slowly changed, got cheaper more greasy. the meat is terrible if its not too greasy its too dry. the steak is so bad it has hard pieces of dried meat and so much vile fat in it. most of the time i have went there it was terribly understaffed, the young man(i believe his name was geremy) that was serving friday night was vary nicely dressed and very kind and helpful. but he was the only one serving food i felt bad/uncomfortable eating there because of it. los cabos seriously needs the invest on some better meat and stop serving the cheapest stuff they can find. the salsa will always be the best the best tho.

any time i have eaten here, i've had to spit out chewy bits of meat from my burrito. it does have convenient hours, so ill keep coming to get okay mexican food once in a blue moon

great tacos. one night, my boyfriend and i decided to get los cabos for takeout, being that we were in the mood for some tacos, but not in the mood to pay the price for tacos at verde. (very good, but expensive) we ordered about 6 tacos in a variety of flavors. they were all wonderful, except the potato. it was more like a mashed potato in a tortilla, and the toppings didn't add much flavor. my favorite taco is the pollo asado. overall, great toppings, great food. the only other complaint i have with them is they consistently say 20 minutes for your order to be ready, and i'm usually there waiting another 10 for it. but, well worth the wait for some yummy tacos!

best mexican i've found in pittsburgh. not the best mexican food i've had, but the best in pgh. az and ca have much better and more authentic mexican, but this is a nice place.

nice people, small dining area, nicely informal, but a good variety on the menu. i've been searching for campechana and this place has it! the chile relleno is exellent as well.

good value.

finally!. i really like this place. everything that i have had has been delicious. the staff has been nice and the service quick. i have been waiting for mexican to pittsburgh.
