this is an honest feedback from a pet parent who loves her pet like anything and bolte hai na “bache khush rehte hai toh parents automatically khush ho jate hai” this is what i feel when i go to this place, my pets love this place like anything as they are allowed to sit wherever they want not like other restaurants where they say they are pet friendly but then they will ask you to keep your pet either on the floor or on your lap. coming to the food we had ordered lono punch, crispy baby corn, chicken popcorn and few drinks and many more which i don’t remember but the taste was literally finger licking especially chicken popcorn was amazing, if you are a non vegetarian then you should definitely try!! staffs are very co-operative and ambience is super surrounded by real green plants. it was secondvisitand i am in love with this place😍 thanks to the entire team for making we customers happy!!!!

missing green places? then this is definitely one place to visit. the greenery, calm environment, and the sound of flowing water( from the small fountain) all makes the experience very refreshing.
while for many places, the ambiance can be appreciated much only in the evenings due to lightings, this one is great both for a dayvisitand for a night out.
couldn't try much of their dishes, so cannot comment about it.
would have appreciated if they served beer on tap.
overall, the experience was highly satisfying. and i intend tovisitagain to try more of their dishes.

we went there on one of week days. the food and service was decent. we ordered:

1) chicken nachos - 5/5. the nachos were perfect. all cooked well and tasted good.
2) lemon grilled prawns - 4/5. this was a good starter. if it was cooked a little more well it would have been good.
3) chilli pork - 5/5. this was the best! pork cooked well done.
4)beef roast - 2/5. beef roast was not to upto to the mark. we expected a little more roasted with kerala spices but it wasn't at all.
5) cacciatore chicken steak : 3/5. the sauce was okay and blend in chicken. it tasted a bit like butter chicken gravy with chicken. so i wasn't sure how to give this a rating. the mash potato was so good.

the ambience and service was 5/5. will definitely try other dishes andvisitagain.

my firstvisithere for a lazy date over the weekend. couple of things that i loved firstly : relaxing ambience with plants everywhere in the outdoor seating. gives it a very european feel! lono is also pet friendly, saw some very cute dogs happily hanging around without disturbing other tables.
next, the staff are quite pleasant and courteous.
we had not opted for any booze during ourvisitand hence my review is based on the food alone - and this sadly could be quite improved. we had peri peri grilled fish for starters and veg hakka noodles.
both were pretty average and nothing to write home about.

maybe willvisitagain to try other choices and then edit my review, hopefully would make a better dining experience!

the ambience is so nice with the green plants everywhere.
there's a section with sofa seating arrangement which gives a private experience for the group which i loved.
ordered the following:
crispy corn chilli pepper : 5/5
jalapeno nuggets: 5/5
paprika hummus: 5/5 (yummmy!)
wok tossed veg noodles: 5/5(comfort food)
i would definitelyvisitthis place again especially to try the paprika hummus again!

secondvisitto lono, this time for the sunday afternoon and at the very onset let me start by saying that a rating of 3 is only for their service, the food and the ambiance deserve an absolute 5!
same as last time when we had hopped in for dinner about two months back, our experience was really good but for the service.
today as well, we had a great time as the place is really done up well and the food is absolutely lip smacking!
we ordered a host of dishes and each and every dish left us smiling and asking for more. superb taste, aromas, flavours and gorgeous portion sizes, you cannot ask for more but unfortunately the effort and the taste of the kitchen team is marred by their slow and u attentive service.
waiters are struggling and even though we spent more than 3 hours every item was delivered only after second reminder, once they forgot the order we gave for two drinks and a food item completely!
you are constantly left waving your hand at a waiter. service is polite but not accommodating. for instance we reached around 1 pm and were starving. we got to the table and when the server came we told him to fetch our drinks and asked him for any 1 item from their vast menu which can be served soon so we can have a nibble and the rest we will order slowly. the reply was same every time, even after 3-4 requests, ‘all items take 20-25 minutes’.
waiters are struggling for orders and running around. a good three hours and just like last time, all i could surmise is that there is absolutely no supervision from the service side on the floor. no supervisor or manager working with the staff and taking charge.
unfortunately a great kitchen team and with such an amazing ambiance, it will not take a very long time when people start realising this and go elsewhere!
i for one, am definitely not going in another time. so, here’s a piece of advise, go only if you have loads of time to spare and don’t mind waiting for a very long time for each and every dish.

horrible service..
although food is good- no complain about that..
the service lady who was taking order was not at all competent..
1st order was a beer and 2 starters:
took 20 mins to get the beer after follow up..
and then comes only 1 beer and 1 starter…
after 2nd follow up, and after 20 more minutes comes the 2nd starter..

2nd order was main course : beef steak and pizza..
she clearly wrote 2 orders and then after 40 minutes comes only the steak.
again after following up, they say and blame us not giving the pizza order..

if you guys wannavisithere, be prepared of repeated follow ups for ur food, long waits and a bad attitude from the service guys!

and they charge 5% service charge! wow

after dealing with a traumatic experience at ironhill microbrewery & a small stint at bohemians (where the license to serve drinks have been canceled) we decided tovisit@lonotropical
as the reviews were good in @zomato , we decided to give it a try! once we entered the place to our shock,they were dealing with a short circuit & the place was dripping in darkness. despite booking in advance via zomato, we had to hustle for a seat and were provided with a table after 15 mins. nonetheless, we decided to give it a chance & ordered drinks & food. and below is hungry monkeys review:

ordered items: a glass of j&b rare, a tropical relaxer, a lono gin fizz, a sky hawaiian, a bangalore sunset, an arrowhead, a cranberry cooler, a verdure veg pizza, a plate of h.c.p fish & a bowl of crispy corn.

tropical relaxer; tasty cocktail with tinge of cranberry, coco syrup which was refreshing. an absolute favorite.
sky hawaiian; had it not been for curacao syrup, it wouldn't be in my list of a must try. though suited for hot weather, it still ticks all the boxes for a top class cocktail.
lono gin fizz; the egg white did the magic. strict vegetarians should stay away. but, its unique & with lime juice it beats all the aforementioned drinks.
bangalore sunset; vodka, rum, gin, tequila, red wine topped with triple sec. need i say more? absolute delight.
arrowhead; kept the best for last! to be honest, a combo of gin & rum drink had never tasted this good. must must try. the budsting of flavors in your mouth is praiseworthy. this barmans special won my heart!
crispy corn; very average, could have been 10 times better. too much gram flour spoilt the taste.
verdure pizza; decent, but it was well proportionate & perfectly cooked.
h.c.p. fish; best, never tasted this amazing chinese dish. the julienne cut veggies added the flavors to an already incredible dish!

service: lethargic, delayed. had to ask twice to get an order.

damages: inr 3k(zomato pro)

verdict: good ambience, amazing cocktails, needs focus on service.

this place one of the most beautiful decor i have seen in bangalore. full of greenery feels you out of city culture. good food and service. they has large open air seating and indoor as well. and completely hygiene as per covid protocol. one of mistvisitresto bar...

last week ivisitin lono with my family for experience service is good and i love it especially drums of heavenvisitagain..

it's a nice cozy open air ambience place...perfect for dating/ friends get to gether and birthdays . place covered full of green plants. staff are very friendly...mustvisitplace in bangalore...

ambience is too good and food is so tastyy.

this place is amazing. the food, ambience, hospitality- it was my 2ndvisitin 3 days and it's definitely going to be my adda.
