we were a group of 6 n started with a veg platter, crispy corn, n tom yum salad. the crispy corn was bland, not recommended. the veg platter had a few good options n overall was pretty good! the tom yum salad tasted like onions dipped in some sauce, not good.

we ordered pasta, burrito bowl n a few other items for main course. to our surprise, the burrito bowl was very well prepared. however, the alfredo pasta had no salt n no flavor. even after multiple trials (of adding salt, pepper, oregano, etc.), it was beyond repair, n we ended up complaining about it. to our surprise, thestaffwere not much bothered.

overall the place is nice with indoor outdoor seating, but it requires serious work in the food department.

extremely mismanaged and horrible behaviour by thestaff. we had a booking still they made us wait for half an hour and kept giving place to others ..

the place is beautiful, but it had rained and maybe there were too many mosquitoes because of that, but i've seen other places that are just as green and don't have that many bugs. there were flies, one that got stuck to the salad too.
the food was disappointing. we ordered chicken satay and it definitely wasn't authentic and overly spicy.
the worst of it all was the service. i went with a friend to celebrate her birthday and had ordered a cake for her which had arrived before we came in. i stepped aside and asked one of the femalestaffmembers to get the drinks and the cake along with it. they serve us the drinks, and she asks me about the cake right in front of my friend, and ruined the surprise entirely. and she asked me over and over again too, coz my friend wanted to click pictures, we were delaying. i get she was probably in a hurry to get home, coz i wanted to talk to her later about this, but she seemed to be headed home. but at least tell yourstaffmembers that if someone is getting a cake, it's most probably a surprise and you can't just come and ask about it right in front of the other person. the entire surprise was ruined and the experience was also quite bad. not sure if i want to go back. very disappointed.

we ordered chicken nachos to start with which took more than an hour. we reminded the waiters 4 times about, they would say 10 mins and no one arrived with it. there was only one standing fan which was usually occupied by people turning it or standing in front of it. there were 2 cockroaches under our table which made it even more horrible. thestaffdidn't seem to care about cockroaches running around. thestaffactually didn't seem to care about anything. i hated wasting my money and time there. also, the place is super expensive and god knows for what.

my first visit here for a lazy date over the weekend. couple of things that i loved firstly : relaxing ambience with plants everywhere in the outdoor seating. gives it a very european feel! lono is also pet friendly, saw some very cute dogs happily hanging around without disturbing other tables.
next, thestaffare quite pleasant and courteous.
we had not opted for any booze during our visit and hence my review is based on the food alone - and this sadly could be quite improved. we had peri peri grilled fish for starters and veg hakka noodles.
both were pretty average and nothing to write home about.

maybe will visit again to try other choices and then edit my review, hopefully would make a better dining experience!

food taste was below average. service was slow. you will need to wait a while and remindstaffa few times before anything happens.

ambience was decent. but definitely not worth the vist again.

second visit to lono, this time for the sunday afternoon and at the very onset let me start by saying that a rating of 3 is only for their service, the food and the ambiance deserve an absolute 5!
same as last time when we had hopped in for dinner about two months back, our experience was really good but for the service.
today as well, we had a great time as the place is really done up well and the food is absolutely lip smacking!
we ordered a host of dishes and each and every dish left us smiling and asking for more. superb taste, aromas, flavours and gorgeous portion sizes, you cannot ask for more but unfortunately the effort and the taste of the kitchen team is marred by their slow and u attentive service.
waiters are struggling and even though we spent more than 3 hours every item was delivered only after second reminder, once they forgot the order we gave for two drinks and a food item completely!
you are constantly left waving your hand at a waiter. service is polite but not accommodating. for instance we reached around 1 pm and were starving. we got to the table and when the server came we told him to fetch our drinks and asked him for any 1 item from their vast menu which can be served soon so we can have a nibble and the rest we will order slowly. the reply was same every time, even after 3-4 requests, ‘all items take 20-25 minutes’.
waiters are struggling for orders and running around. a good three hours and just like last time, all i could surmise is that there is absolutely no supervision from the service side on the floor. no supervisor or manager working with thestaffand taking charge.
unfortunately a great kitchen team and with such an amazing ambiance, it will not take a very long time when people start realising this and go elsewhere!
i for one, am definitely not going in another time. so, here’s a piece of advise, go only if you have loads of time to spare and don’t mind waiting for a very long time for each and every dish.

everything is perfect here.
people say that it takes 20days for something to become your habit. but this place can make you addicted to the ambience, food, vibes, friendly yet professionalstafffrom the first day you visit.
perfect for lazy #weekend, exhausting weekday.

the veg manchow soup quite bland.

white pasta and chicken curry bowl were nice.

value for money.staffis patient and courteous.

pet friendly! and i love that, cute doggos can come and we can pet them! apart from that, the food was good, in good quantity.staffwas very courteous. we had ordered jalapeno poppers, tabi green curry and club sandwich with two mocktails. would love to try their pizza.

food was good.
service was bad - took long time to get the order. lot of miscommunication between thestaffabout the order.

booked the table in zomato and as soon as we reached they took our name down and showed us out table .. we had two dogs along with us and they were very accommodating , they got us two seperate bowls of water for the pets and took down the order ..checked with us if the pets are okay to be served boiled chicken and got us a bowl of boiled boneless chicken ..

the food is always amazing , never failed to impress.. the kerala beef starter is too good ...
what i would request the owner is to add a couple of fresh fruit cocktails rather than the syrup based mocktails ..

it's a nice cozy open air ambience place...perfect for dating/ friends get to gether and birthdays . place covered full of green plants.staffare very friendly...must visit place in bangalore...
