a good place for out door dining during winters. they have indoor dining too.great ambience. excellent food and a great variety of options for buffet. attentive and friendly staff. the buffet was a mix of japanese, indian, italian and arabic. good spread of deserts too.

the best thing... amazing staff...they were always ready to help.. get you what you want and always with a smile... the quality and variety of food is good only one weak point... less variety of vegetarian dishes... other wise great...

excellent food, great spread, nice ambiance and good service. i really appreciate the effort put in by the team. i would have had a better experience however this is the second time it was made horrible at the end at the valet pick up. absolutely rude, negligent and made me wait over 30 minutes. i would strongly suggest they pay attention to this if they want returning customers as it ruins the end of any good experience at their venue.

the lunch buffet in this restaurant was very good. they have a fusion of arabic, indian, japanese and italian. the ambiance is good and the feeling is fresh because of the brightness of the place. the food is really good.

excellent food , lovely ambiance and attentive friendly staff. this place is an absolute beauty and i can go on and on about the food. i had two children with me and they enjoyed the food immensely too . the sushi is not to be missed and the dessert counter is fantastic. they even have a live grill where they cook kebabs for you . i cannot recommend this place enough.

i've always wanted to try the friday brunch at liwan. was trying to join every competition to avail the same for free😄, but was unlucky. fortunately, cobone offered it for aed79 (excluding drinks) so, finally tried it one friday, with my husband, and our daughters, ( 4 yo and 8 mos).
the staff were so accomodating, leading us to our seat, giving our baby a high chair, introducing us the cuisines to choose from.
they have a small play area for our toddler, with some popcorn, fish fingers and fries, so she was in the play area most of the time, while we were munching on the delicious array of foods -- variation of salads, main, and desserts👍!
a clown was entertaining our baby, even giving her a balloon.
everything was good and the only let down was that there was not much choices for the main course. even my husband mentioned about this. but their desserts... were superb! loooovvee loovvee their dessert spread that we have totally forgotten about their main. and i am not even dessert person. will be back there again...soon!

well i haven't tried anything here yet but i have been to this place many times with my friends who are shisha lovers and they tend to like this place
i also like this place because they have an outdoor seating just for shisha and the view is nice
so if you love shisha then this might also be a good place for you.

i had a chance to dine at liwan restaurant again at swissotel al ghurair, this time for sbg griller weekend experience (which stands for seared, braised, grilled). i tasted fresh and well seasoned fish, lamb, prawns! superb to say the least. have you been?

had lunch here twice, first time was ok, there were few food selections from japanese, italian, indian and the rest were arabic cuisine., sushi was great atleast they had salmon nigiri plus the roast beef was good! actually everything was ok except for the set up was late, we came around 12:45 and buffet was not yet ready at that time..but we were assisted very well, thanks for the good service! the second time was horrible! they said friday brunch is their best,, theres no big difference from their regular lunch food selection to their friday brunch.. nothing at all! roast beef was hard to chew u cant even swallow it.. thanks to the attending waiter and manager for having an initiative to ask whats wrong and sorted out evrything!

nice place. wonderful staff. good food. staff are well trained and do their best in service. it includes waiters and cooks.

while there are a lot of brunch choices here in dubai, only a few caters to the whole family, especially the kids. some have dedicated kids' play area, yes, but nothing like the one that the play house brunch offers.

with all that's in store for kids and adults alike, a aed 160 per person rate for adults and aed 80 for kids between ages 6-12, is absolutely a great value for money. kids between ages 0-5 can also dine for free. such a steal!

so i came here on a whim. great staff, awesome environment, and so so food. salads were very good 4/5, mains were not so, i would give 2/5. drinks 4/5 and deserts were a real let down. overall i won't come here again, but well done on the staff now move to a better chef!

its one of the best place to be ...i wanted to celebrate a suprize bday party...they offered us a private place for 9 ppl..also the staffs were very co-operative, they helped us with the decoration, and also let us use party poppers which none of the other hotels allowed..we were extrmly happy with the food and the support of the staff...and was def not very expensive...its worth it...!!!!! :)

at the onset of ramadan, i was invited to the special iftar for bloggers and press at the liwan restaurant, the all-day dining spot at al ghurair rayhaan by rotana. of spacious interiors and elegant decors, the restaurant created a soothing ambience with the gentle splash of water from the wall fountain and warm lighting. here is a visual display of some of the delicacies that were offered to us as part of liwan’s iftar buffet. enjoy!

food was good. they had varieties of food.
they have good selection of salads, main course and desserts.i cannot point out any particular dish, all was good. fish and lamb was awesome, sushi was also good. restaurant ambiance was good.
