"serves some amazing shisha", said my friend and sure it did. you get agreatview of the fish roundabout. we sat in the balcony which was open air. it was pretty warm, but soon we got a shack that had the air cooler. we asked for the mint shisha. they have the use-and-throw pipes. the shisha was one of the smoothest and it lasted very long with the coal having to be changed just once! they had few items that were available late at night. i asked for the triple chocolate milkshake. the description looked interesting but it wasn't all thatgreatwhen they got it. i also wanted a french fries. they had only some thin french fries (i think they were the read-to-eat ones which you just fry). they were much thinner ( the waiter had told me about it) and did not feel like i was having french fries at all. by itself it was a good snack, but they shouldn't sell those as french fries. they were served in an innovative way wrapped in a serviette! it was almost closing time, so they asked us to clear the bill and said that we could sit for some more time. after a few minutes, when we asked for the charcoal to be changed, the waiter said that the shisha guy had already left. this came out as a bit unprofessional, considering that the other satff are still there. but certainly a good place to visit for shisha!

massive buffet , good variety, incredible display. the food quality is high in standard as well as taste.

i went on a saturday where they celebrated the asian theme. the buffet had loads of starters and salads, soups, sushi, dimsums, chaats, soups , main course and desserts. a foodie like me relished the buffet and enjoyed the food offered. also, it's agreatrelief for parents as the restaurant have an indoor play area.

few things were very disappointing
1- the buffet ends at 4pm, around 3 45 the staff dismantled the play area where we were still having our lunch.
2- air condition switched off sharp at 4( asking us to leave)
3- none from.the staff informed us that there is a special chef counter for kids. i learnt later through a friend. how do they expect us to know their facilities. also, it wasn't mentioned anywhere.

apart, from this do try the buffet for the food they have to offer on weekends.

the brunch is excellent. so much varities every where and many live stations! especially dessert section! can't complain much, most of the item tastes great.

this is one of thegreatrestaurants in this area. the food is descent. they have a fair variety one could go through different cuisines. i think they ought to improve their desserts a bit. otherwise all 👋 good

i have come across to see a blog with the specials of liwan and i’m so happy that i have found this gem! the place is amazing! from the superb service to the delicious food items, you will never regret of visiting the restaurant. hats off to melvin who was really accommodating and genuinely assisting us with the choices of drinks and the specials of the weekly theme. he was really agreathelp and you can really see that he’s very passionate with what he’s doing. rachel was also friendly and made sure that we will have comfortable seats. akash was also patient with our requests. overall, a highly recommended place with a nice ambience of everything. kudos to the team!

we had a lunch buffet at liwan with family, ambiance is nice, quiet decent. the person serving are very courteous. the staff is good.
we had got discounted coupons otherwise the price is on the higher side. the live crepes station was notgreatat all they were dry and not palatable. what i enjoyed the most was salad and the lamb, lamb was cooked well. we were told by the staff that they have friday brunch buffet which has wide range of dishes with kid friendly activities and cooking classes for kids. hopefully will update the reviews if we go for friday brunch with kido.

our company celebrated diwali in liwan last oct 2019.

food selection was great, their arabi mezza is so delicious
staffs are very accommodating and responsive.

restaurant managers are very helpful as well.
we had agreatexperience 🙂👌👍

customer service is cliche but to have someone genuinely providing you with agreatservice - is not common nowadays!

but lucky me - liwan restaurant has agreatpizza! perfect to chill while doing some workload and "satta" was superb!

the kids brunch was fantastic,greatselection of food and games catered for the little ones. food variety was excellent. service by kearl was impeccable, he was attentive and prompt and we thoroughly enjoyed it. highly recommended for families.greatjob, swissotel dubai

each kid is welcomed with a special wristband,activity book and stamp in their kids passport when they arrive :).this passport is to get stamped at every visit to receive a special gift once complete.

while the parents enjoy their food the little ones can explore the kids play area with party games and entertainers from face painting,wii games,balloon bending, art activities,exciting cooking classes and so much more to keep them busy and entertained the whole time.

totally amazed by the vast buffet with international cuisine and the best part is parents can eat relaxed while kids are well taken care. they include a lovely play area where kids can be kept occupied which also includes face painting, balloons and there’s a separate section for little chefs. love their kids buffet spread too. the buffet is priced at aed 169 per head and kids aged 6-12 pay half and kids ages 0-5 go free ♥️
definitely an option you can consider for a fun day out with family.

i cannot believe i did not know of this place!

we were invited to taste the play brunch for kids on a friday afternoon
as we entered the cavernous room, the huge variety of food was just mind boggling. generally buffets have average food but that is not the case here
i had one of the best thai red curry here while the shawarma wasgreattoo. the variety of juices was so good as was the sushi and wantons. 
lets talk about the kids area. it had a bouncing castle, ball pit, face painting, balloons and painting corner. and it was supervised! there was also cookie and cupcake decoration corner along with a separate buffet for kids 
the dessert table is vast and is heaven for a chocoholic. the best part is the amazing value for money. only aed 165 and under 5s go free. 
you cannot go wrong with this place. highly recommended

new management and you can also see improvement. this is my go to place especially in ramadan. you will get a feel of 5 star in terms of variety, ambiance, service, welcome staff.
the rice and meat is yum! salad bar is superb so is the dessert section. there's proper grill items and rice and all the good things.
i'll be honest i feel it's pricey that's why i only go with promotion especially in ramadan. it's usually on their facebook.greaton entertainer
