theliwanrestaurant hosted a buffet of arabic and international dishes as well as live cooking stations, and you can expect traditional favourites like lamb ouzi, shawarma, and fresh seafood, as well as a selection of desserts and cakes to end on a sweet note. consistently good and well presented, their iftar offering this ramadan is like a greatest hits from their menu .

my husband and i went for friday brunch today for the first time inliwanrestaurant at swissotel al ghurair. the food was exquisite. there was a wide range of dishes to choose from. my favorite section of the buffet was the grill section where you can order grilled beef and lamb steak - medium rare. yum! shout out also to karen in the front desk for the excellent customer service.

great price for average buffet.
based on dubai standard and prices,liwanis standing out based on their food quality and price. they are not your pretentious 5 star buffet that costs you 500aed per person but they rather very normal, good quality buffet which have enough of food to eat and leave happy.

liwan is a nice place for an evening out. its the all day dining restaurant of the hotel "al ghurair arjaan and rayhaan by rotana" i was there on a friday evening. the atmosphere is very calm and the staff were very friendly and attentive. they have a nice terrace where they serve shisha and i personally liked their shisha very much. the buffet spread has good salads though limited on the main course. the food its a hit miss, though the iranian grill was good. the desserts are also ok. the service was good and the hosts pampered us with a no rushed feeling. if food is not the only agenda which is a miss miss hit,liwancan prove to be a pleasant night out otherwise

i have come across to see a blog with the specials ofliwanand i’m so happy that i have found this gem! the place is amazing! from the superb service to the delicious food items, you will never regret of visiting the restaurant. hats off to melvin who was really accommodating and genuinely assisting us with the choices of drinks and the specials of the weekly theme. he was really a great help and you can really see that he’s very passionate with what he’s doing. rachel was also friendly and made sure that we will have comfortable seats. akash was also patient with our requests. overall, a highly recommended place with a nice ambience of everything. kudos to the team!

swissotel al ghurair is a luxury 5 star hotel located in deira in the heart of dubai and it’s surrounded by outstanding architecture and breathtaking designs. i loved the high-ceiling and the pearl-colored pillars which add a touch of elegance to the restaurant plus this place is also linked to the iconic al ghurair shopping center.

we had an iftar buffet atliwanrestaurant with family and it was an amazing experience, due to ramadan the restaurant has elaborated the iftar pre set menu and this will be available throughout this holy month. this place has a variety of options for a good price plus you will get a warm welcome and efficient hospitality from the entrance till buffet area.

let's start with some iftar menu, we tried most of the items from their buffet like fresh fruits, salad, hummus, mutabal, halloumi, vine leaves, grilled lamb, yellow rice, white rice, grilled chicken, fried fish, spring rolls, cheese samosa, bar bq grill & kebab, fish curry, and lots of desserts i.e: um ali, cheese kunafa, baklava, custard, jelly, pudding, kheer, mini cakes & donuts.

all the items were made to perfection and we really enjoyed it especially after offering prayer the arabic coffee has been served on table to digest the food with dates to enjoy it.

i would like to say thanks to the whole team of f & b who were quite attentive, professional and soft spoken with the customers and especially to their head mr. khaled who was coordinating with them and making sure that every customers should be treats well.

we had a lunch buffet atliwanwith family, ambiance is nice, quiet decent. the person serving are very courteous. the staff is good.
we had got discounted coupons otherwise the price is on the higher side. the live crepes station was not great at all they were dry and not palatable. what i enjoyed the most was salad and the lamb, lamb was cooked well. we were told by the staff that they have friday brunch buffet which has wide range of dishes with kid friendly activities and cooking classes for kids. hopefully will update the reviews if we go for friday brunch with kido.

customer service is cliche but to have someone genuinely providing you with a great service - is not common nowadays!

but lucky me -liwanrestaurant has a great pizza! perfect to chill while doing some workload and "satta" was superb!

came forliwantwice for iftar ... we used entertainer so prices were really good ... food variety is amazing .. sweets are the best ... their coffee station ... their juice shots ..the live music... the valet parking service ... we had a birthday on that day and they offered a complimentary cake and the staff and the band played music for us ... it was amazing experience... it is a must try iftar ...

we booked my son’s party atliwanrestaurant and the service that we got is truly beyond our expectation, they even provide free balloons, personalized cake and some crayons and coloring books for the kids.

special shout out to mary grace who did an amazing job for assisting us and tried the very best she can to provide all our needs all through out our party.

the food is as always taste amazing! love their salad section and the live pasta and grill station.

will definitely book another party here again.

we went toliwanfor a brunch last friday following the high ratings on zomato and was miserably disappointed! they had a variety of dishes from across the world but everything lacked in flavour. the chef at the korean corner was not very efficient as he never delivered us the promised dish in spite of several follow up. but the rest of the staff was very helpful. this place is good for families with children as they have an exclusive kids buffet spread with other activities.

a new party themed play house kids brunch is now launched inliwanresaurant located at the swissotel, al ghurair, dubai. held every friday from 12:30 pm until 4:00pm the brunch is a fun packed afternoon celebration for the entire family. each kid receives a special welcome wristband and stamp in their ‘kids passport’ once they arrive. they have arranged special kids area with colorful low tables and chairs to make them comfortable. the buffet offers a selection of delicious bites such as chicken fingers, hotdogs, pizza, mini burger station and so on. each flavor juice is served in packets along with straws which is really cute. for the desserts they have tempting candies, chocolate fountain, pop corn machine, cupcakes and so much more. while they enjoy their meal the play house also encourages little chefs to come and learn a few tricks to prepare their favorite dishes. however those who want to play around have the jumping castle and for others can get their faces painted with cute designs. so in short they would never want to leave this place.
