i won a instagram contest for this place, went there for dinner, loved thevarietyof dishes available, i particularly enjoyed butter chicken with plain rice and fresh naan made on the spot, the desert selection was vast , loved the chocolate cakes, also tried sushi for the first time. outdoor seating was also nice with cute lamps and view. enjoyed the experience. thank u liwan

one of the worst iftarat i had ever tried. i tried this on a friday night, widevarietyof food but no focus on quality. they overbooked, tables were stuffed beside each other, most of the food ran out the first half an hour. moreover, they assigned tables for families with kids all beside each other in one closed corner so it was extremely loud and annoying. on the bright side, the music band with the saxophone player were very nice and entertaining.

feels not worth for the payment. the setup, ambience and staffs are very good. but thevarietyof the dishes is not satisfactory. recently have tried friday brunch mother's day special. as per international buffet, but i could only fine some indian, arabic & italian dishes. i believe if you serve few country dishes you cannot call it as international, for that there should be more varieties. food choices also very less especially for kids, mother's day special so expecting some special foods for kids, but could not find any special kids menu items other than desserts.

this is one of the great restaurants in this area. the food is descent. they have a fairvarietyone could go through different cuisines. i think they ought to improve their desserts a bit. otherwise all 👋 good

swissotel al ghurair is a luxury 5 star hotel located in deira in the heart of dubai and it’s surrounded by outstanding architecture and breathtaking designs. i loved the high-ceiling and the pearl-colored pillars which add a touch of elegance to the restaurant plus this place is also linked to the iconic al ghurair shopping center.

we had an iftar buffet at liwan restaurant with family and it was an amazing experience, due to ramadan the restaurant has elaborated the iftar pre set menu and this will be available throughout this holy month. this place has avarietyof options for a good price plus you will get a warm welcome and efficient hospitality from the entrance till buffet area.

let's start with some iftar menu, we tried most of the items from their buffet like fresh fruits, salad, hummus, mutabal, halloumi, vine leaves, grilled lamb, yellow rice, white rice, grilled chicken, fried fish, spring rolls, cheese samosa, bar bq grill & kebab, fish curry, and lots of desserts i.e: um ali, cheese kunafa, baklava, custard, jelly, pudding, kheer, mini cakes & donuts.

all the items were made to perfection and we really enjoyed it especially after offering prayer the arabic coffee has been served on table to digest the food with dates to enjoy it.

i would like to say thanks to the whole team of f & b who were quite attentive, professional and soft spoken with the customers and especially to their head mr. khaled who was coordinating with them and making sure that every customers should be treats well.

liwan is one of the best catch here in deira side. with all the restaurants around, this one is worth every dirhams. with the social media hype - i’m not easily convince even there’s b/vloggers reviews till i experience first hand! 😊 so it’s proven for us that their friday brunch is so family oriented and our kids loved it!varietyof options for a good price. the staff , from entrance till buffet area are very warm and as expected, hospitable and efficient.

came for liwan twice for iftar ... we used entertainer so prices were really good ... foodvarietyis amazing .. sweets are the best ... their coffee station ... their juice shots ..the live music... the valet parking service ... we had a birthday on that day and they offered a complimentary cake and the staff and the band played music for us ... it was amazing experience... it is a must try iftar ...

loved the salad bar so much, also the fruits bar it was great.. goodvarietyof main courses but the fish dishes were not good...
sweets are so tasty with the ice cream..they have a band also .. you can find it on entertainer.

went for the friday lunch buffet. loved the spread from salads to the desserts. goodvarietyof salads and sushis. the main course too had avarietyof dishes to pick from. the staff is very courteous and polite. definitely visiting again. this place is a must try.

very comprehensive buffet of friday with fun filled kids menu and professional staff. u cannot have multicuisine buffet better than this. enjoy your weekend brunch with cusines from thai, continental, italian and arabic with hugevarietyof grill and seafood. not to be missed mocktails included in buffet and yes fresh frozen nitrogen 🍨 (ice cream). a fresh and hand made swiss chocolates is another not to be missed while your kids will be kept busy with indoor soft games and ps4 also with there own healthy and child taste menu.
overall value for money..and needs a big compilment to the staff who are very helpful and smiling to all your needs.

the kids brunch was fantastic, great selection of food and games catered for the little ones. foodvarietywas excellent. service by kearl was impeccable, he was attentive and prompt and we thoroughly enjoyed it. highly recommended for families. great job, swissotel dubai

great food with a lovely ambience . the outdoor seating seems good as well , overlooking the fish roundabout in deira . went there for the new years brunch .
they had a widevarietyof dishes and interesting sections like the cheese sections , fondue section , and kids section .
the staff is very good and polite . i would especially like to mention the manager on duty today , mr khalid for his exceptional service . there was a small issue regarding some vouchers i had purchased but he solved it and was very accommodating.
will definitely go back again .

we went to liwan for a brunch last friday following the high ratings on zomato and was miserably disappointed! they had avarietyof dishes from across the world but everything lacked in flavour. the chef at the korean corner was not very efficient as he never delivered us the promised dish in spite of several follow up. but the rest of the staff was very helpful. this place is good for families with children as they have an exclusive kids buffet spread with other activities.

it's rare for a restaurant to focus their brunch around kids. i've been to several brunches where there's a small section for little humans and the rest is devoted for adults. the new friday brunch, play house at swissotel, al ghurair dubai specializes in keeping kids entertained during brunch. what a novel idea! kids get to don chef hats and indulge in avarietyof activities and consume food much to the pleasure of the parents who don't quite have to go running after them.

service was a bit slow as the place is literally full, however since it's a buffet it wasn't annoying.

a goodvarietyof ready made drinks tasted very fresh

best buffet place to take the kids to as they have a play area with bouncy castle.

only negative thing was that some of the waiters smelled extremely bad which was not expected at all in such a place.
