we tried their crispy catfish salad, shrimps in a blanket, the steamed lapu lapu in lime dressing, their chicken sate, and the pineapple rice. the shrimps in a blanket were fairly straightforward, nothing too notable about them. the crispy catfish salad was pretty good. the steamed lapu lapu has a very very delicate flavor, others might find it a bit bland for their taste, but the fish was very well cooked. the pineapple rice and the chicken sate were both just fine. overall i wouldn't say that the food is that much of a standout, but there's no betterthaifood in the area, and the location is very picturesque, making it an ideal place for special occasions.

this is the go-tothairesto. it's hard to find athaicuisine that is as good as this one in manila, you'd need to go to tagaytay just to taste the goodness.

food selection and flavor - it is indeed an authenticthairestaurant. i think it is a bit pricey though (when you consider the portion size per order).

ambience 10/10 love the garden setup ans very refreshing. the place is romantic. plus points for being pet friendly.

i suggest that they change their directions on their website. quite confusing because the yellow arc is no longer there. keep it up!

this place was one of the best places i've ever eaten in. i'm not a big fan ofthaifood, but everything that we ordered was exquisite. the ingredients were fresh, the portions were just right for the price, and the food was delicious. the place also has a great ambiance and my friend who loved the outdoors really felt relaxed in the restaurant. servers were also attentive and friendly. i would definitely go back, and i would highly recommend this place for people who want to have greatthaifood with a relaxing ambience.

i’d say the food is very much worth every penny. i have tried the ff:thaimilk tea, paneng nua, fresh spring rolls, saté gai, padthaigai, and sticky rice. when i tried this resto, me and my friends are on a food trip. we have tried around 5 restos in tagaytay, and this topped my list as the best one.

price:
it’s quite pricey but the quality of the food you are getting is commensurate to the bill.

ambiance/venue:
it’s kinda dark inside the resto but you may opt to eat at the garden area or at the balcony. the fixtures and designs may still be improved to have a morethaifeel because it looked more like a cozy home with somethaiitems around rather than an actualthairesto. it also has an “organic” vibe.

lime and basilthairestaurant is like a home away from home. we were seated outdoors. it was cozy and serene, which gave us a feeling that we were in our own garden.

the food was outstanding. each of the meal we ordered was flavorful and fresh. i consider this restaurant as the bestthairestaurant i've been to yet.

recommend: make sure to try their fresh spring rolls, yam som o salad, kaeng deng kha moo (crispy pata with red curry sauce), pad thai, andthaiiced tea!

skip: gai hor bai toey (chicken pandan). it was too dry for my taste.

the service was good but not outstanding. although our server was attentive, i do wish that he was more friendly and smiled more. this didn't bother me too much since the ambiance and food were amazing.

will definitely go back! ❤️

tried lime and basil out on the way back from our trip to batangas. ❤️ gotta say, we all made a good choice choosing this place. not only did the place look cute and cozy with theirthaidecor, garden and homey atmosphere... the food looked and tasted great too! 🤤

⭐️ pomelo salad: pomelo was sweet, and the overall flavor profile of the salad was a mix of spicy, salty and sweet. best salad i ever had! and that says a lot, since i’m generally picky with salads. 🥗

⭐️ pad thai: the crunchy stuff on top turned out to be egg! 😮 noodles were sweet and salty, and springy too! it came with bits of chicken and is best enjoyed with a dash of lemon juice on it for a sour flavor that binds it all together.

⭐️ sticky rice with mango: great way to end the meal with something sweet! mangoes were delicious, and the sauce that came with it was a mix of milky and sweet. nice contrast to the sticky rice! 🍚

super love their food and ambiance! 💚 so far the bestthairestaurant i’ve ever been to. i think it’s suitable for any occasion. my fiancé and i went there for a late lunch date. place is totally relaxing and romantic because of the lush greenery view which makes it perfect for al fresco dining and dates! went back just after 5 days and brought our whole family for father’s day and they loved everything as well.

i've known this place for the longest time but its my first time to dine here. i've been to differentthairestaurants but this is the best.

if its your first time, try their best sellers like the spring rolls, pineapple rice, salted egg fried chicken and pad thai. 5/5

even the drinks are really good and refreshing, especially the iced lemongrass tea and tamarind juice.

ambiance: 5/5 the place is al fresco and gets packed during the weekends, so its better to have a reservation.

service: 5/5

i’m a big fan ofthaifoods!! this is perfect for those who love thailand cuisine. they have perfect outdoor place surrounded by beautiful greens, plans, trees and everything. they have indoor dines too with matched withthaiambiance feels. i really love their foods. we ordered pad thai, mango salad, and fresh spring rolls. they have complimentary sides too. everything is perfect. but there’s a little bit of flies flying around when you choose to dine outside. overall, thumbs up!

good place, good food. location was not hard to find. huge parking at the back. alfresco dining is available. pet friendly. prices were mostly between 300-400 per serving but the serving size was good enough for 2-3 people. too bad they don’t serve the famousthaiomelet/omelette. we loved the fresh spring rolls and chicken wrapped in pandan.

great food! family and i enjoyed it. padthaiwas the highlight, as well as the tom yum soup. great service, food delivered right away! even the free kropek with tamarind honey sauce was awesome.
