delicious. please ignore terry baratta as this particular reviewer appears to be from a small town in western canada. i'm sure where she's from, people have yet to develop taste buds. claiming that tim hortons is a better choice thanlecheis a joke and her entitlement is rampant as whines about their prices and unsuitable paper bags.

the place is great. the donuts are fantastic. been to a number of gourmet donut places as they've popped up and become more popular and i have to saylecheis at the top of the list. heading there this weekend and hope fans of tim hortons stick to their watery coffee and frozen and refrozen dough cakes and stay far away from this shop.

must eat!. i can't say enough about how much i love léché!!!! no one is perfect but for a business that hasn't been opened for even 6 months, i say bravo! so the odd person that gives this a bad review...i say try again! the fact that the owner isn't even 30 and has the courage to support young women and is so talented, we should all supportlecheand small businesses like it!!! bravo girl! keep up the great work!

i want more!. i kept hearing about léché from my team mates, and finally made it! really really happy that i did, everything from their food to their donuts! after reading some of the reviews, i couldn't help but right a wrong and disagree with some of what the "foodie tales" guy said about the apple donut! i looooved it and so did my friend, so he should defiantly try it again! anyways, i had to say it. great food, super sweet girls and loved the design!!!! pink and lime green...my fave! xoxo

j'ai décidé d'écrire une critique plus récente pour léché desserts! l'ancienne datait de 2013!

« can't go back to regular donuts! you cannot hate this place. it is pretty, the owner is very kind and the donuts are amazing! the peanut and jam is a winner, and i've never been crazy about that combo. i also loved the white chocolate one, and the donut with coconut-lime (no filling). :) »

so last time when mr.butter suprised withlechedesserts donuts, the pistachio donut was missing. mr.butter surprised me again by bringing me to the physical location. i was clueless and caught off guard because the neighborhood for such a donut shop was unusual and even bewildered me. i was animated by the unmistakablelechedesserts signage. the space was mostly occupied by the kitchen, where the magical birth of donuts happens. at the sight of the pistachio donuts being displayed and more importantly, available, i was overjoyed. oh, cheesecake donuts? some of these as well please! a quick order and we were out. we couldn’t wait to get out and taste them!

i always thought you can never go wrong with a donut but after trying léché desserts i realized i've been eating bad donuts all my life. you seriously can taste the love and skills they put into making these donuts. i tried the chocolate brownie donut and also the tiramisu donut (i'm not sure if the tiramisu is a part of their regular menu but i like to think i was special enough for it to be made that day :]). definitely will go back next time i'm in montreal!

march 12, 2015 / by zuuchini / in food , montreal , restaurant review / post comment as a kid, my first doughnut was from dunkin donuts. then, they disappeared from the montreal scene. afterwards, i had my doughnuts either at tim hortons or krispy kreme. but neither of them gave the same sensation aslechedesserts. once you havelechedesserts donughts, you just can’t go back to ordinary ones.lechedesserts make many unique flavors. i was sad that pistachio wasn’t available. there shall be another time! regardless of the flavors, what’s remarkable about their donuts is the texture of the fried dough. think of a edible fluffy pillow, not too fluffy where it cannot support the weight of the head. firm but comforting, it allows the head to sink in a bit. some flavors were better than others, my favorite one from this batch was coconut and lime (or the passion fruit one). the sweetness is just right. i would eat a whole without finding it sweet and can easily have a second one. even my mom who is incredibly sensitive to sugar and very discipline with calorie intake enjoyed these doughnuts and couldn’t stop herself to have a second serving! i’m so gladlechedesserts isn’t that accessible to me, or i’ll be stuffing my face with doughnuts during this tax season. zuuchini share this: facebook twitter email

lovely...but.... i have been tolechedesserts many times and made orders for events a couple of times as well.. their selection is amazing (my favourites are pistachio and peanut butter jelly donuts)

unfortunately, i went today and the worker was so rude and unenthusiastic about her job it really makes me uncomfortable about going back. the owner is so sweet and usually her employees are great. i don't know her name, but she was slim, brown hair with ear plugs.

i went in with my husband and she looked mad that there were customers. when i asked her if they had any of my favourite ones she replied an annoyed "no." and pointed at the display like i am retarded for even asking.

as a small business owner, i feel bad for the owner because this place is overall perfect and their sweets are never disappointing, but it really goes to show you how employees are impactful on your business.

amazing!. every doughnut i've tried has been amazing, the white chocolate mousse and boston creme are really the best of the bunch. i've taken a dozen to a friend's birthday and even the office, i gotta say there wasn't one person that didn't fall in love with leche!

on top of an amazing product the quaint location and awesome staff really setlecheapart from the rest, plus i'm a huge fan of hot pink.

needless to say, lechedoughnuts are great and i'll for sure be back for more!

people are going apeshit for donuts. you know what i’m talking about, montrealers. the wave of trendy donut shops has not yet tided over – you’ve got chez boris ,lecheand saint donut leading the charge in bringing gourmet donuts back to reality. forget about tim hortons, dunkin donuts and what you thought you knew about how donuts taste. these guys are reintroducing the dessert in a way that will turn donut eating into your new bad, albeit delicious habit.lechemontreal feeds the donut craze by baking up a storm of different pastries. there are slight variations each time we go, but there are some mainstays that remain available almost all the time, unless they sell out before you get there. the space is comfortable and roomy, located inside a red brick building that may be hard to miss unless you’re keeping an eye out for the surprisingly fitlechebaker. i mean, damn girl. for the amount of donuts you bake? you look good.lechemontreal serves both breakfast and lunch items but i

wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. amazing....doesn't sum up the magic that léché creates and puts in their doughnuts! what a treat, her approach to classic favourite desserts and pies that you'd find on your families table, but in the form of doughnuts! apple pie and lemon meringue (my favourite)! i watched the léché team making their bread in front of me, another making some chocolate creations, another cutting fresh herbs from their indoor garden, all whilst i waited for my homemade hot chocolate to wash down my fresh doughnut! awesome cool!
can't wait to go back and see the léché girls! great job!!!

all in all, quite impressive and very satisfied with my 1st experience. léché will definitely be in the back of my mind next time i am confronted with the prospect of more “mainstream” doughnut options. next thing, i just hope that they open up their hours a bit more so that i can stop by a bit more easily in the future.
