delicious. please ignore terry baratta as this particular reviewer appears to be from a small town in western canada. i'm sure where she's from, people have yet to develop taste buds. claiming that tim hortons is a better choice than leche is a joke and her entitlement is rampant as whines about their prices and unsuitable paper bags.

the place is great. thedonutsare fantastic. been to a number of gourmet donut places as they've popped up and become more popular and i have to say leche is at the top of the list. heading there this weekend and hope fans of tim hortons stick to their watery coffee and frozen and refrozen dough cakes and stay far away from this shop.

fresh, deliciousdonutsand good lunch options as well. parking is a little tricky at times, so give enough time to circle around or park a bit further and walk.

j'ai décidé d'écrire une critique plus récente pour léché desserts! l'ancienne datait de 2013!

« can't go back to regular donuts! you cannot hate this place. it is pretty, the owner is very kind and thedonutsare amazing! the peanut and jam is a winner, and i've never been crazy about that combo. i also loved the white chocolate one, and the donut with coconut-lime (no filling). :) »

so last time when mr.butter suprised with leche desserts donuts, the pistachio donut was missing. mr.butter surprised me again by bringing me to the physical location. i was clueless and caught off guard because the neighborhood for such a donut shop was unusual and even bewildered me. i was animated by the unmistakable leche desserts signage. the space was mostly occupied by the kitchen, where the magical birth ofdonutshappens. at the sight of the pistachiodonutsbeing displayed and more importantly, available, i was overjoyed. oh, cheesecake donuts? some of these as well please! a quick order and we were out. we couldn’t wait to get out and taste them!

i always thought you can never go wrong with a donut but after trying léché desserts i realized i've been eating baddonutsall my life. you seriously can taste the love and skills they put into making these donuts. i tried the chocolate brownie donut and also the tiramisu donut (i'm not sure if the tiramisu is a part of their regular menu but i like to think i was special enough for it to be made that day :]). definitely will go back next time i'm in montreal!

march 12, 2015 / by zuuchini / in food , montreal , restaurant review / post comment as a kid, my first doughnut was from dunkin donuts. then, they disappeared from the montreal scene. afterwards, i had my doughnuts either at tim hortons or krispy kreme. but neither of them gave the same sensation as leche desserts. once you have leche desserts donughts, you just can’t go back to ordinary ones. leche desserts make many unique flavors. i was sad that pistachio wasn’t available. there shall be another time! regardless of the flavors, what’s remarkable about theirdonutsis the texture of the fried dough. think of a edible fluffy pillow, not too fluffy where it cannot support the weight of the head. firm but comforting, it allows the head to sink in a bit. some flavors were better than others, my favorite one from this batch was coconut and lime (or the passion fruit one). the sweetness is just right. i would eat a whole without finding it sweet and can easily have a second one. even my mom who is incredibly sensitive to sugar and very discipline with calorie intake enjoyed these doughnuts and couldn’t stop herself to have a second serving! i’m so glad leche desserts isn’t that accessible to me, or i’ll be stuffing my face with doughnuts during this tax season. zuuchini share this: facebook twitter email

people are going apeshit for donuts. you know what i’m talking about, montrealers. the wave of trendy donut shops has not yet tided over – you’ve got chez boris , leche and saint donut leading the charge in bringing gourmetdonutsback to reality. forget about tim hortons, dunkindonutsand what you thought you knew about howdonutstaste. these guys are reintroducing the dessert in a way that will turn donut eating into your new bad, albeit delicious habit. leche montreal feeds the donut craze by baking up a storm of different pastries. there are slight variations each time we go, but there are some mainstays that remain available almost all the time, unless they sell out before you get there. the space is comfortable and roomy, located inside a red brick building that may be hard to miss unless you’re keeping an eye out for the surprisingly fit leche baker. i mean, damn girl. for the amount ofdonutsyou bake? you look good. leche montreal serves both breakfast and lunch items but i

not worth time or $$$$!!!! to begin, service was horrible... i ordered 3donutsand she gave them to me in a brown paper bag, by the time i got to the car, toppings were gone... when i went inside to request a box, you know one of those nice pink ones they advertise, we'll apparently 9$ wasn't enough to qualify for a box!!!!donutsare overpriced (2.50$) and are definitely not worth it... the fillings are cheap and watered down with whipcream, yes very cheap. andddd, keep note, you can't order the minidonutsat the counter... it has to be a special order of
minimum 50 minis for 45$... wht nonsense!! don't waste ur time or
money... go to tim's where thedonutsare cheaper and better. and u don't enough have to pay for the box at tim's imagine that
