delicious!. i went here with my husband two times in a week. the burgers were fantastic and the fries with gravy they called it pouhtin or something spelled like that in the 50's it was known as an order of wets, but either way they were so good. i never eat my leftovers and when we got home both times i finished my leftovers....burger was great cold!!! lol! will definately return frequently....only complaint is that food is huge! lol well worth the price

very disappointing. had high hopes based on previous reviews, but the fried pickles had an 'off' taste, the bl 'fg' t sandwich (which is supposed to be a signature item) was awful, and the skillet cookie dessert was tasty, but completely raw in the center. we did appreciate that it was more kid-friendly than most downtown restaurants, but that is about the only positive thing i can say.

burgers and dessert. the burgers are really good, but save room for dessert. the chocolate chip cookie baked in a cast iron skillet with ice cream on top is heaven.

deal! deal! deal!. not only has the food always been good but for a downtown restaurant it's a deal price wise. we visit often before games and have never been disappointed. and at least once, everybody needs to load-up the kids, or in my case the grandkids, and order the four pound burger. talk about a memory, they will talk about it for years - and it's even a deal!

great restaurant. i visited this restaurant with my son over the weekend and was very impressed with the food and the atmosphere. shawn the owner was great and made sure we were happy. he even remembered my name. it is a place where kids and adults can both go and have a great time. thanks shawn and i will be back soon.

big food. for a quick beer and burger, this place is tops. a huge burger and cold 32 oz beer for under 10 bucks nuf said!!!

i had the half a pound burger and i would defanetaly go again next chance i get!

the prices are super cheap. you can't beat 21 bucks for a 4 pound burger that is big enough to feed 4 large men and have left overs. the people are really nice also. i would recommend the sweet potato fries and a big glass of sweet tea.

looking for affordable fun downtown food? here is the place.. this is a fun place, great atmosphere, great drinks, and a great location. the food here is not extravagant, but they have some unique menu items that make it a different enough place to be interesting. the bulk of the menu is made up of sandwich selections, but there are some pretty interesting ones, such as the fried ham and cheese. they also have stuff like bratwurst and meatloaf sandwiches. the appetizer list is very good and i would recommend their bbq nachos if you were getting one. they over some interesting side items such as cheesy corn, and my personal favorite, sweet potato french fries. i can't recommend this enough, they are the best in town. they have a good selection of beers on tap at affordable prices, so its a good place to get warmed up for a night on beale, or before a movie at the peabody. the best thing about this place is the good quality of food combined with the very affordable price tag. it is a pretty noisy place so its not your romantic date type of place. unless noisy, hunting lodges is your idea of romantic.

first off let me say that the owners, shawn and lana danko, are first rate memphis citizens. they get involved in our commuity. god bless them for their charitable works.

this is by far the best casual place in downtown period. great burgers, huge portions, and the mother of all feedings, "the sasquatch". personally my favorite is the fried ham and cheese sandwich. it is crispy, hammy, and gooey all in the best ways possible. the entire menu is good, solid food and the service is excellent.

come early, and come hungry. you're going to need time to finish the generous portions and you'll want to visit with shawn. he's a first class guy running a first class joint.

big foot. the place as a whole is a good experience. it's hard to find anything that isn't good there. the service is good and the people are nice. the owner, shawn, is a great guy. he remembers his customers and he is always walking around checking on them. it's a great place to go eat.
