knafeh is a jerusalem dessert, it's made from a sweet baked phyllo with cheese. it's so different in a good way that's it's not too sweet and not too cheesy, perfect for cold winter nights!

in a nutshell: a seemingly crazy and simple idea of a dessert that's like a wider, shallower, tantalisingly savoury, cheesy creme brûlée with light soft crust! sold and served to you by good looking, bearded men with lively personalities!

i literally bumped into the food truck during one of my rounds of the bay walk/run. and of course i stopped. you will too if you see this food truck!

a unique dining experience! the knafeh here is beautiful, with just the right amount of crunch to creaminess ratio, and the bearded bakers are hilarious and genuine, making every customer feel welcome. definitely worth tracking them down on instagram/fb to find where they are located for the week and going for a night of laughs and delicious knafeh!

loved this middle eastern dessert that is best eaten hot! it tastes like an egg tart that is sweet and creamy on the inside and has a crunchy top. also enjoyed the atmosphere of this food truck, there was music and dancing, which made for a great night!

saw this knafeh all over my facebook newsfeed and i couldn’t help myself to try it when it was within my vicinity. when i arrived it was literally a party with the bakers playing music and singing along. queues were long and a long wait for the knafeh to be baked. families sat on milk crates as they enjoy this middle eastern dessert. very lively and upbeat atmosphere. the bearded men looked as if they enjoyed doing this and give off happy vibes while they do their work.

they only serve some drink and knafeh. i just ordered knafeh take-away but the crust seemed to soften when i arrived home. i poured too much of the rosewater syrup on the knafeh so it was overly sweet, rookie mistake. apart from mine being too sweet, the dessert was absolutely fabulous. the milk goodness goes well with the rosewater syrup, however the crust was soft. i would recommend eating it on the venue then it might have a crispy crust. note it changes place every week and you will need to follow them.

we visited this food truck @ eq food truck jam. knafeh was our first and one of our only stops. i had heard of it. i wanted to experience it. i was intrigued. it was sweet yet salty, creme brûlée like, dessert but cheesy. it’s weird to explain but i want another one.

i have always loved knafeh when they have their food trucks around and especially the vibe they bring with their service! i visited their green acre store to try their white chocolate snow ball and my goodness, it paired beautifully with the warm knafeh! loved it, and there are more flavours to try so i can't wait to go back!

i am used to armenian knafeh which is thicker, cheesier (pulls like mozzarella) and in my opinion, much more delicious. however this being one of the only legit places to get knafeh in sydney, i am still very grateful for, plus their syrup is quite good. atmosphere is always fantastic and staff always enthusiastic.

yes, most definitely will be eating this again. we only bought 1 to share and to be honest this was not enough.

lucky for us, we were first in the queue and got to watch the nice dance/show whole waiting for it to cook.

didn't think i'd get a chance to sample this (they are everywhere and long lines all the time), but they came to epping for the langston weekender.
we went at 3:30pm, so it was really empty. they still have the party vibe going on, and it was really fun listening and watching them.
the knafeh is cheesy, warm and custardy. very different with anything i've had before. we really liked the overall experience :)

this little dessert is unique and delicious, texture are perfect, but it’s just too sweet for me. maybe, you can request to reduce the sugar syrup that was poured at the end.
come to the venue just for this is definitely worth it if you havent try a delicious knafeh.
unique and welcoming environment.

delicious custard like dessert which is amazing and served nice and hot. the wait might be long but the entertainment makes you forget you’re waiting. expect lines wherever these guys set up. but it’s definitely worth a try.
