delicious and perfect in everyway. i'm not sure what the negative reviews are going on about. this place has consistently provided me with excellent service. i'm sure there have just been a few off days for the restaurant, but who doesn't have a bad day every now and then?
i've been coming to this family run restaurant for years now and i love it. i've taken my indian parents here; people that are very picky eaters, and they absolutely loved it. even when i'm not around they stop buy to grab a bite.

the servers are all really nice, the chefs are amazing and the food is fresh, good quality and service is quick. one of their male waiters is really cute too. ;)

for their dishes, i personally recommend the deep fried squid, crab, lobsters, duck and kai lan! i've never personally tried their dim sum but all my friends tell me it is amazing.

like i said, i have never had a problem at this place. the food is fantastic and for the price you're getting it at, it's practically a steal.

10/10 will go again!

went for dim sum on mother's day and i knew it was going to be super busy so we were patient throughout our experience. after being seated we waited well over 15 mins just to be greeted and given a menu and tea. server was very kind and accommodating with my cousin's shrimp allergy and offered us options for soup. food took longer than expected but again, we understood that it was a busy day. the dim sum however took exceptionally long. others who had ordered dim sum after us were getting their food first. it was such a long wait that i still had one more dish that never came so i had it removed from the bill. lastly, i hadn't noticed a sign that they put up at the entrance for mother's day saying it was cash only. any other day i know they accept cards since this restaurant is our go-to place for special occasions. they said that their machine was down today. i apologized for not knowing it was cash only. they said that they would take down my card information and process it but i was fully prepared to drive a couple of blocks to withdraw money if need be. the lady scolded me for not reading the sign and took my credit card information. she didn't give me a receipt, didn't ask me to sign anything and she didn't ask how much i wanted charged. not even a thank you at the end. i understand that she was busy but perhaps they need to develop a more efficient way of providing better service to guests during busy days (more staff, specific roles to workers, etc.) after having this unpleasant experience, i will be watching my bank statements closely and will think twice about visiting this restaurant again.

under the new management, this place has been a hit and miss. same dish would taste different every time when we visit for example we ordered spicy deep fried squid which was fresh and meaty squid and tasted delicious but coupe days later the same dish tasted totally different. they had switched to frozen squid and it tasted bland and rubbery. our recent visit was the worst because my husband was in the washroom with one of their kitchen helper who did not wash his hands before returning to work!!!!! this is totally unacceptable!!!we talked to the front staff who insist he did wash his hands in the kitchen??!! we are not going to take the risk so we left and not coming back to this place anymore

i can honestly say this place has gone completely down hill even with the new owners. i ordered fried rice which is bland. and the spicy deep fried fish (which was my favourite) came soggy. like soggy soggy. super gross. last time i ever go to this over priced restaurant for bland soggy food. customer service is bad as well

dim sum is not the original chinese flavour. portion and price is expensive. the boss lady or owner has no customer service skills comparing to the lady waitress there who was super nice and friendly. they posted online the menu didn't match the menu they had in the restaurant therefore when we ordered over the phone the boss lady took down the wrong number ordered and blamed it was our fault. thanks to the waitress for resolving the issue with a happy attitude. the boss lady face was very bitchy and rude. first time will be our last!! we are new to the area and wanting to find a good dim sum place. this is a no go back.

their house special crispy chow mein is one of the best in town! in addition to regular seafood, chicken and bbq pork, it also has some fried fish mixed into the sauce. the dim sum is decent, though the regular shrimp dumpling seems a bit small and siu mai too meaty (lee yuen's has more shrimp to it though both are pretty large portions). their scallop-shrimp dumpling is great and larger portioned though it comes in three pieces. fried squid is not as greasy or spicy as some other locations.  i tried their wonton noodle soup a while back, the wontons were great but the soup was awful as the noodle dough taste went into the soup.

king do seafood restaurant is located on 104the ave surrey. the location is a little bit far away from the skytrain station. we've been this place at the beginning of the july. by accident, i found this restaurant. we ordered 2 courses beijing duck and special combo for dinner. the beijing duck was over cooked, which was very dry. the special combo was a very great deal. only $10, you can a large plate of food. the food taste was decent. large portion with a cheaper price. the servers are friendly too. we were excited to come back again in the future.

we have only gone here for dim sum, but this place has great decent quality dim sum at reasonable prices. the lemongrass shrimp dumplings are my personal fave!

ate a 10 course meal here. food is decent, dim sum is better. although we did enjoy the peking duck. service is poor and restaurant is small, especially for large parties.

so i order food for delivery and they tell me i have to wait and they will call me, cause the delivery driver is not there yet... what kind of restaurant is that.....so delivery is gonna long...so don't offer delivery....

pain in the bun to order delivery warning, order must be $ for delivery. the food is ok, but it's not really worth the long wait. plenty of competition to worry about this place.

my husband and i have been looking for a good chinese restaurant for the past five years, and we finally found a place worth going back to. we were pleasantly surprised with the food and the service, granted the location of the place. authentic chinese food that is the best i've ever had so far. give it a try, you won't regret it :)

we looked at the online reviews before entering and it seemed to be decent so we thought we could give it a try. the manager was very nice and kindly to us. she recommended certain dish for us and that is how we ended up getting something we’ve never tried before…

no steamed rice and rude services. ok - i never write reviews but the terrible service here was worth my time! so i'm sitting here with my family right now waiting for some white steamed rice. first of all, what chinese restaurant doesn't have steamed rice? strange, i know. they first offered two bowls of rice they had available but the rice was cold - obviously old rice that they used to make fried rice. we said we would wait for some rice to be made. and so we sat as they brought out our dishes and no rice. our dishes getting colder by the minute.....

not once did they come by to let us know how much longer the steamed rice would take. i had to follow up twice myself and each time i was told it was almost ready. never was there an apology.

omg, 30 mins later our rice has finally arrived (although not fully cooked)- our dishes are cold now. not even an offer to provide us with a discount or anything.

so basically, no tip and i will never ever be back - too bad b/c even though the food was ok the service was the most horrendous i've ever experienced
