have they changed their menu recently? so disappointing. they now offer tapas and "large plates". our table really liked our entrees or tapas but the mains were terrible. 30something dollars for seriously average food with tiny portions. biggest waste of money. definitely do not recommend this place.goodfor an overpriced pint of beer i guess?

food: my smoked lamb salad. delicious, lots of flavour and lots of lovely cooked melt in your mouth lamb
atmosphere: it was lunch time, not too crowded and we were seated outside in the sun
service: polite, attentive and friendly. the waitress checked with us a few times (not too intrusive either) and took drink orders which didn't take long to come out.
value for money: verygoodactually

keystone used to provide classy food, agoodrange, well prepared... but no more. the choice is limited, ingredients mediocre, but the prices are still up there with the best in town. come 2020, the value is not there any more, the imagination is not there any more. we asked the waitress about this and were told the they "were going for a more casual menu" which is agoodeuphemism for cheaper offerings. this is sad for a restaurant that used to compete in the wild food festival.

keystone is great for a social catch up. live music, happy hour and a vibrant atmosphere - key features you need for agoodnight out! service was outstanding - a bit too much checking in but hey its great for me but not on everyone's palate.

food - i had the fish of the day.goodsize and beautifully presented - tastegoodand fish isgoodandgoodsides on the plate.

i have been to keystone numerous times - sometimes for lunch, sometimes for dinner or even just a drink. the service is usually pretty good, and often quick which is great. most of the time the food is great and they do havegoodoptions.

went for a staff function before xmas. four of us pre ordered the lamb which was presented in a rack type cut, tasted great ! but unfortunately no sharp knives were made available to use. desserts were great also. but we were given a drinks list of all alcoholic drinks, asked a waitress for a list of non alcholic drinks she said there wasnt one. i waited while she tried to remember them off the top of her head, she thought of 3, coke, lemonade, orange juice . notgoodenough :(

my partner and i got a voucher deal which we chose the duck tacos and the steamed pork buns as an appetizer. they were both extremely good, out of this world! with the mains, i got the lamb meal and he got the pork cheek. the flavours are very rich and fragranced. you do get a decent portion size but because i don't usually go for rich flavours, it took us awhile to finish. personally, i preferred my starter meal 😂goodatmosphere and friendly staff that are attentive.

had dinner here with my husband last night. he got a 50 dollar voucher from the lawrenson group goody card program because it was his birthday this month, so that was super cool, and he chose keystone. dinner was lovely. had the chips and gravy to start which was yummy, just could have used a bit more cheese curds. i had the chicken tacos which were amazing.  i think they're menu could have a little more variety, but it seems that what they do have they make really well so thats awesome :) service wasgoodtoo!

got a table here for a tuesday night and they were really busy! staff seated us and served us immediately and efficiently which was great. food took about ten minutes to come out which was surprising with how busy they were. our waiter was a young man who was very friendly and had his table service down pat. food was reallygoodand the restaurant had a great atmosphere. will definitely return.

keystone do very well to maintain a frequently changing array of menu items at the $12 mark. some mains are asgoodor better than you'd pay $25 for elsewhere though a few are only just worth the price tag. the range of beers is excellent, the service is always very friendly and fast, the atmosphere and cleanliness top notch. i frequent this place regularly and will continue to do so

absolutely looove the chicken tacos and pork tacos so good. also rhubarb and apple crumble and the banana brûlée is sogoodtoo. it's ashame they don't do the caramel pork anymore.

i don't get how this place is so popular. it has average food and average service. can someone explain what the allure is? it's not bad but it's not asgoodas the consistent crowds that frequent here on most nights. it just seems like if you pay a little more you can go somewhere that is quite superb.

went to keystone with a group of five. this place has a nice ambiance about it. service was verygoodthanks to our verygoodwaitress. all my group said their meals we a-ok.

have been to keystone a few times, first time the service wasgoodand the food was average ($12 lunch) the second was the same, tonight a few friends and i went to have dessert as they now have $6 desserts on tuesdays. when we arrived our table hadn't been set up so we had to wait for about 5-10min's, we then got to our table and the waiter stood there and kept asking if we wanted mains and drinks even though we had already told him we were only there for dessert. the food took about half an hour to come out and was very average. the ice cream sandwich was poor with the biscuit impossibly hard and could hardly be eaten, the creme brulee looked and tasted like calci yum yogurt and was burnt far too much around the edges. overall am very disappointed and probably wouldn't go back.
