fabulous every time!
my favorite breakfast iseggsquesadillas with salsa and well done fuego fries...a must-have.
the banana or blueberry pancakes are amazing!
this place is addicting!!!

incredible food. so so service. first off it was a cold holiday morning, so they were very busy. after standing unnoticed at the front waiting to be seated for over five minutes, i seated myself at the bar. it took another 10 minutes or so for one of the waitstaff to acknowledge me. she quickly dropped a menu with no greetings. i ordered a black coffee (very fresh) and a tamale andeggsplate at the recommendation of a friend. it did not disappoint. the potatoes (i think they called them fuego fries) were not bad, but average. they are basicly pan fries. the tamales andeggswere so good that i would suffer through the mediocre service again to have them. who knows, maybe it was just an off day due to my timing.

delicious breakfast!. wow! excellent food. we stopped in for breakfast this tuesday morning, and we were very pleased. my wife and i both had the rellano omelette with fuego fries.eggswrapped around red onions, rellano pepper pieces, and cheese, then covered with tomato bits, delicious spiced cream cheese, and fresh avocado slices. even came with toast, which was too much food! our daughter had chocolate chip pancakes and hash browns. i know, not a sensible meal, but she loved them. we will definitely go back. i was told that it is super busy on the weekends, but we had no issues today.

a (not so) secret fabulous!. small place, wonderful food. go early or be prepared to wait. i love theeggsover tamales with green sauce. divine. everything is delicious really though!

great brunch!. my wife had tamales andeggsand said they were the best tamales she had ever had. since she eats these a lot, that is a great compliment. i had enchiladas and eggs. also great. i also ordered blueberry pancakes and biscuits and gravy. it was also really great. the pancakes were loaded with fresh blueberry's. we went around 12:30 on a saturday and only had to wait about 10 minutes. just know they close at 2pm every day so it's not a dinner place.

watching juan and his wife, elayne, work the kitchen was impressive and exhausting. the duo works together seamlessly. she flitted around him, prepping omelets and sprinkling queso fresco while he brokeeggsand dropped them on a pan with one hand and passed off a completed order with the other. guests frequently stopped by the bar area to say hi to elayne, to ask how her mom was doing, to thank juan for a great breakfast. they never missed a beat.

this family owned, local business is fantastic! a comfortable diner with delectable entrees! the pancakes are light and fluffy, never too greasy!eggsare always cooked to order. the south of the bordereggsbenedict is amazing. the creamy hollandaise sauce is slightly spicy. the ham steak and english muffin are about the same thickness, which is nice. often times, the bread is too thick and over powers the other components of this dish. served with a choice of hash browns or home fries, this mexican inspired twist oneggsbenedict gets two thumbs up! some weekend mornings there is a bit of a wait, but generally goes pretty quickly. in addition to great food, the wait staff are friendly and efficient.

best buttermilk pancakes!. my fiance and i ate here one morning. we were one of the first customers in the door. the food was made quickly, came out piping hot (i'm very picky about food being hot), and it was very good. i had the best buttermilk pancakes of my life and my dad is a professional chef as well. the potatoes were a little heavily seasoned but i tend to be sensitive to spices. the scrambledeggswere very good. most places taste like cardboard or sponges, these were fresh and perfection. the coffee was also the best i've had in awhile, only complaint was the server filled it up every time she passed so i had to keep adding my sweetener. this place beats ihop any day. i can see where with bigger crowds it could be slower, but it's worth the wait for actual good food!
