this place is off the charts good. gets my vote for the best breakfast restaraunt in norman area. i love the traditional breakfast items with several southwest offerings as well. beware though: this place is almost always busy. prepare to wait a bit, especially on weekends.

delicious breakfast!. wow! excellent food. we stopped in for breakfast this tuesday morning, and we were very pleased. my wife and i both had the rellano omelette with fuego fries. eggs wrapped around red onions, rellano pepper pieces, and cheese, then covered with tomato bits, delicious spiced cream cheese, and fresh avocado slices. even came with toast, which was too much food! our daughter had chocolate chip pancakes and hash browns. i know, not a sensible meal, but she loved them. we will definitely go back. i was told that it is super busy on the weekends, but we had no issues today.

the food is very good buy cook time can be awfully long. the wait can be a while. just be ready.

the food was delicious and i liked the variety of menu items...unfortunately, the sloppy wait staff with their oily hair, worn t-shirts and dirty socks made me want to rush to finish eating so i could leave to take a shower. if juan del fuego's put more effort into having a presentable staff, i'm sure more people would enjoy eating at this great local business.

still the best. just can't get enough of this place. took some friends there it was their first time they were all impressed by the food and service. thnx everyone at juan del fuego you made me look good

a wonderful place to eat. a relaxed atmosphere great food good people very reasonable prices good coffee i could go on and on. i am happy to have found this place .

disappointed. kept hearing how wonderful this place was so we finally gave it a try. first strike was that they had tortillas but were not homemade. this my first test for mexican food. the food was not bad but was not wonderful. the tamales were actually very good, that was the only positive thing. won't return but glad we tried it so we can put it to rest now. just wasn't for us.

a (not so) secret fabulous!. small place, wonderful food. go early or be prepared to wait. i love the eggs over tamales with green sauce. divine. everything is delicious really though!

great south of the border breakfast. this place is great for breakfast. we've eaten here several times and the staff has always been friendly and the food is spectacular. you'll crave the place after one visit!

great find. been a couple of times. food is fresh and very tasty. nice staff and great menu items. wish chips and hot sauce came with your meals. try it its a different mexican experience.

fast, good food. i've had their chorizo omelet, mushroom swiss omelet and relleno omelet in the past. no complaints over here. food is prepared hot and fresh. it's all very delicious and tasty. my favorite is still the mushroom swiss omelet with the relleno omelet a close second. my friends have had the pleasure of having the chorito and the green chile chicken enchilada. both dishes received high praises. service is standard but can be slow on busier times and days. i've always gone before noon on weekdays, but i heard that there is a wait on the weekends! be sure to check out their specials too. i know that i was tempted to try that a couple of times, but the omelets pull on me is simply too hard to break.

great food, slow service. we went for lunch on a saturday. it's a small restaurant, and we caught them at a very busy time. unfortunately, they don't really have much of a waiting area. once we were finally seated, our waitress was quick to get us drinks and take our food orders. it took forever to get our food though, and we were pretty sure we wouldn't be returning.
however, we changed our minds once we got our food. it was fantastic! i got chicken quesadillas and my husband got the tostadas. their chef really knows what he's doing.
we will definitely go back now, but we'll try to pick a time when they're not so busy. it's good to see that the quality of food isn't sacrificed, but it seems that they aren't equipped to handle crowds just yet. the servers were friendly and efficient - it was the kitchen that was slow.

i went with high expectations and they were met. i had the tacos mexicanos, beef, chicken and pork. so good. the food was flavorful and filling but still light. the tacos were not greasy or over stuffed. the salsa that came w the meal was made w roasted veggie. it had a lot of flavor and some heat but was a compliment to the dish not over powering. chips, salsa and guacamole were all good. the rice and beans - the beans were so thick and full of flavor i'd go back for more. finally, the service was just what i'd want - attentive but not annoying. i'll go back... maybe tomorrow.
