great old montreal resto bar. went here with a group for a bday. staff was awesome took care of us really well. food wasamazingwe ordered the whole menu and shared everything. tasty cocktail menu too. would definitely go back again soon

great experience. we passed by joverse and first thing i loved was the alley entrance, it makes it different than the classic front door and its more speakeasy that way. ( even though they've got a huge andamazinggraffiti on the side of the building representing the bar )! i went there with a couple of friends and we were amazed by the place: service, food, ambiance, music, dj's, nice crowd... everything was exvcellent! definitivly a new discovery for us and we'll be back for sure with our vip passports in may during the cocktail week !

if you're looking for the most happening place to be at, be sure to go to joverse. in my opinion it is by far the best looking place to hit up in montreal! after admiring the totally one-off decor you will love the service from theamazingand friendly staff to cater to your needs ;) there's also something special added to their already stellar food menu every evening! don't miss another night away from the beautiful clientele and not to mention theamazingmusic, whether you choose to be upstairs or to get lost in the music downstairs in the redroom be sure to try them both! cheers!!

full package. joverse is a trulyamazingspot located in the old port of montreal. my friends and i believe joverse is the full package:

delicious food (tapas style - good for sharing);
welcoming and cozy vibe (the staff is super nice);
best local djs spin there on any given night;
original cocktail list (try the mezcal and michelada!);
and the clientele is beautiful!

by yourself, on a date or with a group of friends... joverse is the spot!

love it!!. really love the place! honnestly the music isamazing. i had such a good night ! the type of food is a tapas style latino fusion . fresh tasty nothing bad to say. contrary to what other critics have said its an older trendy crowd, they probably don't go out that often . always full but just perfectly . such a good vibe with a nice staff !!! the spot to be on weekends champagne oyster thats my kind of night!!!!

must try...:-). top notch - everything we ordered exceeded our already hyped up expectations - great atmosphere, cool place, nice crowd.
the cherry on top, to end youramazingnight, the joverse club downstairs....so much fun, great dj's.
needless to say we will be back !!!!!!

my friends like to go there the weekend but i bartend so i went on wednesday night. had a bite - the duck taco was completely tasty and delicious!! crave!!! the house mixologist wasamazingand invented me a drink based on what i told him i felt like. place is very comfortable and the design is breath taking! well done!!!!

stop looking! this is your best spot for your 5@7. great vibe.amazingfood and cocktails. i even stayed a little longer and went to party in the red room. will be back for sure.

delicious vibes. beautiful room,amazingfood, very good vibes. seating perfect for a big group or an intimate night out. great djs for an great music selection. always a good looking crowd.

definitely recommended!

love this place! great food, people, and vibe!. we had anamazingdinner, everything we ordered was so delicious!!!
i loved the mushroom platter, the scallops, and you have to order the beef cheek slider .. heaven on earth!!!

just as we were finishing dinner the restaurant was filling up with cool good looking people coming in for drinks. excellent food, music and vibe, all in one place.

oh and i forgot to mention the underground red room located under the restaurant. another level of greatness!! if you really want to dance while sipping on a carefully prepared cocktail that is the place for you.
we stayed at joverse the entire night and had an absolute blast!!!

i highly recommend joverse. my favorite place in montreal and i am definitely coming back there when visiting next time!!
