joe's crab shack

went there multiple times always ordering the king and queen crab buckets, they are to die for. the crab meat is fun to get out, sweet to the taste and extremely flavorful. tried different seasonings and i think the cajun is my favorite. they both come with corn on the cob and beautiful seasoned boiled skinned potatoes. additionally they come with a side of plain white rice which you can substitute with not so great veggies (bland) or fries. the food, the ambiance, and the wonderfulstaffalways make it an amazing visit. it is a bit pricey but very much worth it, don’t cheat yourself by going there and not ordering the king crab.

the fish and chips looks like frozen fish . i like the mediterranean better.
the service is good and thestaffare friendly. but the food with the price tags are not worthy.

place andstaffwere ok, we ordered 2 buckets of crabs, but they were overcooked, crab meat was hard and dry, not like the way crab must be prepared.

love the place, surprised not to see on home page. suggest crab and tacos,staffare friendly. thank you. must come for family.

clean and cozy ambience, very unique restaurant, service was great,staffare very helpful, and the food was really tasty especially the giant crabs.

we've been there during eid and had a blast!

the place's decoration is very cheerful and thestaffare super friendly.

we had the shrimp sampler and the paradise platter and loved them both.

the prices may seem a bit high but it is justified looking at the portions offered.

all of the meals were well cooked and perfectly seasoned.

we were surprised when thestaffstarted singing and dancing, it was for sure a nice show!

defiantly coming back for more!

joe’s crab shack definitely feels like an upgrade to your usual seafood restaurant fares.

the food is just fresh and superb, and thestaffis amazing!

the only lively restaurant inside tawar mall because they have interaction with customers whenever they play this song wherein theirstaffdance and encouraging customers to join! it was too cute to look at.. children and parents dancing (they should at least allot a small space for this so customers can freely participate).
i am not fond of eating crab, i find it time consuming to crack and de-shell the meat so it was good that the service crew helped us do the trick to easily eat the crab meats. they're friendly and accommodating.
the taste of the sauce was good, not too spicy and it tasted fresh too. the casserole was good enough for 02 people, we just added side dishes like mashed potato and coleslaw. its a bit pricey though its understandable since its doha's price range for seafood is quite high. nevertheless, trying it once is good enough.
they should branch out to other malls which will be more accessible to other people.

i was very excited to try this place out because it was probably the first of it's kind to be opened in qatar.

we started off with a platter appetizer. it had a crab dip, chicken balls and calamari. the crab dip was pretty nice. the chips served for the dip though not very good.
the chicken balls had a bit of heat in it so was pretty good.
we then had the crab bucket. which had crab, sausage and corn. the crab wasn't easy to crack open and get the meat out. it was a pretty stressful experience. the beef sausage was a bit chewy.
we also had a shrimp skewer and fish fillet. this was probably the better of the lot.
the mac and cheese was well seasoned. the fish was pretty decent and the shrimp was grilled well.
thestaffis pretty nice, and it is a bit of a different experiment to try out. so maybe worth trying out just for the heck of it. but not some place i would want to go back to.

portion size of clams weren’t great and few were missing from their shells. inspite of informing thestaffnothing was done to rectify the issue.
way too pricey... i personally feel sea food shouldn’t be so expensive in qatar especially when ur surrounded by water all around.... prices should be reduced to an extent.

nice and different experience, we had a lot of fun, nice and delicious food. you will never get the taste and different types of crab here in doha except in joe’s crab, thestaffhas a lot of entertainment first when they serve you the meal, then they dance. overall experience excellent.

been here 2 weeks ago awesome food fresh crab and fresh seafood and also thestaffwere great and the price was high but the it's worth trying at least once if you love seafood like me.

i have never had such a unique restaurant dining experience as i did at joe's crab shack. thestaffwere so energetic and their excitement was contagious. while the food was great, the atmosphere and the energetic and super kindstafftruly made it such an amazing time. their portions were satisfying and i really enjoyed all the dishes we ordered. all in all, i think it would be very difficult to leave joe's crab shack without a smile on your face. i recommend everyone try it.
