was here for iftar with friends..placeis small but ambiance is really nice.. buffet was fine and food is great too.. service was lil bit slow due to busy operation but once you call any attention of servers there all attending your needs as much as they could which is understandable.. i just don’t like how manager manages the operation. i noticed that during iftar time he was rushing people to grab food on the buffet and how would that possible if the line is not moving and food are fast to be empty and people are waiting for the food to be refill before moving on to the next.

went here thursday evening for an early dinner. theplacewas pretty empty though people did start coming in later in the evening. the interior decor is really charming and the service was quite nice too. we ordered the cedar roasted salmon and the captain's plate. the portion size of both items was really small and the plates were definitely pricey in comparison to the quantity. in terms of quality, there was nothing i particularly liked. it wasn't bad per se, just average. my friend really liked the snow crab that came with the captain's plate though. our server was really nice and taught us how to get the crab meat out since it was our first time having crab. i also ordered a side of mac and cheese which was disappointing - it was basically the kraft's boxed mac and cheese, not necessarily bad tasting but i'd definitely expect more from a restaurant.

service was good, the location was also great which made theplacea good spot where ambiance was really giving you the american vibe. the food was really good that buttery sauce complimented the dish.

last time we went to @joescrabshackqatar the food was pretty good. service was decent as well. wish they had more than a 5 minute repeating loop of deadliest catch on the tv though. maybe put a few episodes and turn it up so we can hear it. price is midrange and may or may not be worth it to you depending on how flavorful you like your seafood. if you love crab legs thisplacewill be your jam though.

food was great and excellent service! the crew is knowledgeable about the food they serve. a highly recommnededplaceto go if your love eating seafood. plus they also sell nice shirts and souvenir stuff.

we drove all the way down to tawar mall to try this place, we’re curious if it’s as good as the others. i believe this is the first one in qa btw & we’re not disappointed. it’s a shame cause theplaceis empty when we got there, but the food and service is really awesome. they have wide range of seafood meals & other options .we really enjoyed our joe crabshack experience and will definitely coming back.

we tried the joe’s signature sampler (which had crab dip which was okay, cajun chicken strips, mozzarella sticks), alfredo chicken pasta (fine too if you love cheese) and blackened shrimp tacos (shrimp was plain so there is not much flavor in it). remember these portions are big enough for a full course meal which doesn’t leave much room for the crab dish. joe’s crab shack is known for its crab dish i.e. crab steam pot or basket, neither of which we were willing to try because it was going to be a hassle to crack open the shell!! you should try these dishes if your plan for an outing is to just have food.!! i would prefer not visit thisplaceagain considering the price and the value for the dish, maybe for another few months.

i had really terrible experience in joe's crab shack in tawar mall. the foods was great i order joe's classic sampler the calamari voodoo chicken bite is nice all so the chips dip in the crab dip is perfect combination.. but the best in joe's crab shack is the crabs itry the ragin cajun and the arctic bay the taste of the meat is very nice.. next time we come back i will try the others foods. thaks to joe' crab i really enjoy the foods what itry to eat till next time😍😍😍😍

went there with 5 of my friends. theplaceis difficult to find when it's it first time going to tawar mall.

the food is good. we had the bucket crabs and tried different flavours. i didn't like the cajun flavours on the crabs. it overpowered the natural taste of the crabs.

so i preferred the simple steamed crab pots with the vinegar on the side.

price wise. it's a bit expensive.

their gloves are too loose and easyly breaks and makes it difficult to eat .

verdict. we will come back next time as we like seafood. 🤣

at first i wasn’t sure about thisplace, but then i was really surprised the service was amazing the food is new to the country and tasted fresh, shrimp taco is my favorite. the management team are always there and attentive. very positiveplacerecommended for everyone

i was very excited to try thisplaceout because it was probably the first of it's kind to be opened in qatar.

we started off with a platter appetizer. it had a crab dip, chicken balls and calamari. the crab dip was pretty nice. the chips served for the dip though not very good.
the chicken balls had a bit of heat in it so was pretty good.
we then had the crab bucket. which had crab, sausage and corn. the crab wasn't easy to crack open and get the meat out. it was a pretty stressful experience. the beef sausage was a bit chewy.
we also had a shrimp skewer and fish fillet. this was probably the better of the lot.
the mac and cheese was well seasoned. the fish was pretty decent and the shrimp was grilled well.
the staff is pretty nice, and it is a bit of a different experiment to try out. so maybe worth trying out just for the heck of it. but not someplacei would want to go back to.

we have read lots of negative reviews about thisplacebut stil wanted to try theplacebecause we wanted to have crabs. surprisingly, we had a different experience.
1. the setup is very stylish and the decor is nice.
2. the staff are really friendly and helpful. the dance they do every while is very cute.
3. most importantly the food we tried was super yummy. the rajun cajun so good and can be shared, you just need bread to dip in the yummy sauce. we also had the sampler it is amazing. finally, we had the shrimp taco also good.

so finally do not believe all the reviews and try the place

went there today. the crabs are awesome. the mussels are good too. so was calamari. everything we ordered was fresh. staff is very friendly. overall niceplaceto enjoy the crabs.

the chicken was under cooked even after sending it back. the jumbo shrimp was tiny. the fish fillet had bones in it and was also under cooked. theplaceis loud and servers are very quiet. the menu is a bit confusing. no manager came to see us, even though it is a newly opened restaurant and i saw him walking around our table looking at us. we left the plates almost full but he didn't bother.
