delicious meal! usually i get food envy at places... but my katsu chicken curry was delicious! i rate mt experience at 3 because... i don't like how we had to line up in a loooong line and wait at the counter to order - feels like i'm at macdonald or kfc getting fast food! it was squishy and the waitress had to keep asking to excuse past us.. so really ur expected to stand in single file.. which isn't ideal when u want to talk to ur friend. i think for such a popular restaurant they should sort the waitress/servers out so the whole dining experience is in harmony with the actual food. when i requested for my curry to be very spicey when i made my order.. they didn't seem happy and acted as if it was an impossible request. however, other than the service issues i thought my food was fantastic. i also discovered when back at thetablethat there is spice shakers. .. which.. i guess they could have pointed out when i asked my meal to be spicey. i will return again - not for special occasions but just for a casual meal. the price was reasonable and the food was delish.

the food is good, but the service is so poor and they don't really care.
1. was waiting for a table, one waitress said we could have the next table, but then gave it to someone else.
2. instead of taking orders at thetablethey make you line up like some cattle factory. would be about 10 people lining up, one waitress taking orders while the head waitress folded napkins...please, why not take the orders at thetablewhen so hectic or have two people on. going out for dinner is about the experience not just the food.
3. wait for it... the head waitress used the same cloth to wipe down the chair seats as the table..yuck!

dined there for the first time last week.
it was busy because of graduation dinners, but the staff looked after us and got us seats when the nexttablecleared. we were very looked after :-)

we ordered the raw tuna salmon, chicken karaage curry & teriyaki salmon. all meals were cooked to perfection - the salmon was melt-in-your-mouth devine. i would definitely dine here again and again!!

have been to jizo twice now. excellent food, good quality, great variety and well priced. it's great to have a place you can take your family that is economical and healthy. the last visit i went with a couple of friends. the place was very busy and we thought we'd be lucky to get a seat but they work so efficiently that it was only a matter of minutes before atablewas free. the food came quickly and was delicious. i had teriyaki salmon... mmm! next week is my hubby's birthday and i'm going to take him and the children. our children are reasonably fussy eaters but there's enough of a variety on the menu i'm sure they'll find something they'll enjoy.

really unhappy tonight... had a really rude waitress and when i spoke to the owner about how rude the waitress was she pretended she didn't understand me (but she did... i've had other conversations with this lady and i know she understands english perfectly) .. i couldn't believe that the owner would pretend to use the language barrier to get out of a complaint... i would have let this go if a week ago this hadn't happened...

my sister is vegetarian and ordered teriyaki vegetables, which she had had many times before. she was eating away and spat out a piece of beef. i felt it, smelt it and pulled it apart and it was most definitely meat. my sister was not upset but told the owner about it and said she wan't upset but she wanted to tell her in case it happened again to someone else. the owner took it away then came back to thetablesaying the chef said it was a mushroom. it was most definitely not a mushroom.

so now after these two terrible experiences i can't believe their attitude towards keeping their customers happy. her attitude seemed to be because they are cheap they don't have to address complaints... terrible customer service!

went to jizo cafe to have a nice meal with my wife as we often do. but upon arrival we found it was busy and we were asked to wait which is fair enough. after waiting for a while another group of 3 came in and an asian lady (who looked like the manager) approached them and seated them first. we talked to her and asked why we were not seated first. she said that we had to wait for the smallesttableto clear because there were only the two of us, also it was very hard to understand her due to poor english. after another 10 minutes we were finally seated. the food was excellent but this kind of service is appalling.

terrible customer service, put us off the food.

went to jizo tonight with my girlfriend,

the place was busy and after finding atablemy girlfriend went up to the counter to order, when trying to order the food the lady behind the counter was having difficulty taking the order and hearing what we wanted to order, she started becoming agitated and yelling at my girlfriend over the counter in a rude and aggressive manner.

after my girlfriend came back to thetablewe decided to leave as we had been put off the place and will not be back, may be just a case of one staff member being rude but either way a terrible experience.
