great food!. humpy's has great food and great atmosphere!goodplace to watch football on sundays while having a bloody mary!

i agree woth the fogjt for a seat complaint. ot is absolutely stupid, and frankly rude to patrons, that one can't be seated by a server like every other restaurant on earth. staking out tables and hovering around while people eat is the only option if you want to have dinner. the food isgoodthough. but triple check your bill. i've been overcharged there too often to think it a coincidence.

what happened humpy's? we came for the pyramid ale (no longer served), halibut tacos (good, but somewhat overcooked), smoked salmon spread ('ok'-it was more cream cheese than we remembered, and less large pieces of smoked salmon - more processed looking) and calamari (fantastic!!! some of the most tender calamari we've had!). we were happy to visit, but must admit that the food wasn't asgoodas we remembered and the prices had increased substantially. atmosphere was as great as we remembered, but unfortunately there's no live music on thursdays. our service was really great: friendly and fast. this would still be agoodplace to grab local brews and apps on the weekend.

terrible customer service. i have been coming to humpy's since they opened in anchorage over 20 years ago. it has always been a big favorite of both mine and my hubby. we both enjoy a reallygoodbeer and appreciate agoodbeer selection. my hubby and i actually had our 1st date at humpy's 19.5 years ago--we went to humpy's for beers after seeing a great white concert at the egan. we move to kona on the big island of hawaii from 2004-2011 and were so excited when they opened in the old hard rock location on ali'i drive. we were there on opening night and so happy to see an alaska company we loved come to kona! life and careers haven't allowed us to visit humpy's much since we moved back, so i was really excited that i recently started a job (last week) two blocks away. today, i had very limited time with many meetings but didn't bring my own lunch. i thought finally...i can order from humpy's!! i looked at their online menu and called up for a cheeseburger.... first, the phone rang and rang. i had almost given up when someone answered. i gave my pick-up order and was told it would be 15 minutes. i had someone come to my office and talk with me so i didn't get out of the office to pick up the food for about 25 minutes. i was thinking it would be a quick jump in and grab the food since it was past the time they gave me for the pick up order. approaching from the rear, i was told to go to the bar and they would have my food. after trying hard to get the bartenders attention, i told him i had a pick-up order. i handed over my credit card and he went to the machine and ran it but didn't go check on the food. he just came over and said it wasn't ready--how do you know this if you don't even check with the kitchen. it was obvious that he had not put in the order, and yes he was the one on the phone i originally put the order in with.. i kept thinking ok, well the food will be good. after hangin for 15 minutes and really needing to go back to work, i went to the bar and asked the bartender how much longer would it be since i was short on time and had specifically called in the order to save time--the response was an attitude of "i am not cooking it. so i don't know." by the time i got my food, it was over 45 minutes since i called in the order. what did i get? a dry burger that had little flavor, terrible service, with a bartender with major attitude, and a big waste of my time. a 20+ year love affair--done!

this place was average the service was notgoodand very slow. the food was ok at best. don't order the halibut tacos ! nor the omlets. the food was cold. we complained and nothing was done.

stopped by to watch golf. draft beers were reallygoodwith 60 to choose from. the mix you own bloody mary was agoodpriced drink. the soup was excellent

nice staff,goodfood, reasonable prices.  halibut tacos are great - can easily split one order for two if you want to.  lots of beer choices!  a great place to catch a game too.  definitely recommended.

the tiger prawns & lightly breaded cod were very good, & while the french fries were freezer-to-fryer (not our preference for sure) they were fried crispy as ordered. the highballs were ofgoodpotency, & the berry crisp a la mode was as advertised (very good).

anna provided superior service considering how jammed & noisy the place was. $59 (incl tip) for two bourbons n' sprites, prawns, cod, & crisp

i eat here every time i travel to anchorage. down to earth atmosphere always a huge selection of beers,goodfood, and lots of tvs for sports viewing. overall a must see if you pass through this alaskan city.

local beers, great staff, the food is excellent, live music, they even have a build your own bloody mary bar that i have yet to try. during the summer it is hard to find a table at certain hours because of tourist though and they don't take reservations, but that is just agoodsign of how great they are.

humpy's always has verygoodfood and a fun atmosphere. we have fresh salmon over rice that was as delicious as any i've every had. the service is friendly and attentive but never oppressive or scripted. relaxed, fun, affordable and always high quality, we love going to humpy's.

fun atmospheregoodfood. been going to humpy's weekly pub quiz on tuesdays and it is a fun atmosphere to gather with friends. enough to choose from on the menu with the specials always being a nice surprise.goodplace to eat if you are downtown anchorage.

real simple. my opinion is all you alaskans feel like you should get cheap beer everywhere you go. " not gonna happen" lol. i think this place is a nice andgoodfood to eat.
