good bar food. what can i say.

its a good place to hang out or bring a date.

fun, decent food, i wont call it a 4 star 2 maybe but yea its a fun place to go.

great food & atmosphere! salmon spread & crab nugget apetizers were awesome! best fish & chips i've ever had!

halibut is scrumptious!. had the halibut last night and it was fresh, tender, and absolutely delicious! i'm not a huge fan of french fries, but even they were awesome.

we got such a kick out of our waiter's story about his moose encounter while snowplowing his driveway. only in alaska!

i'll be going back to humpy's again and again... and "not just for the halibut" ~lol!

got sick twice, i'm done with the place. large portions, poor quality.

bad food, worse service. stopped in the first time and thought maybe it was just a rough night. gave it a try a second time and it was worse! cold $18.00 tacos that weren't even made as listed on menu and the "king crab fritters" or whatever they were, were a tasteless mash of i don't know what, served with a side of plain mayonaise. (nothing else) i would have sent it all back if the server would have come back to check on me. i figured my meal sitting there with a single bite out of each dish would have been enough to call attention to my table. to top it off, the guy walked by, set the bill on the table and kept walking. horrible service, enough said about that. apparently, the server didn't mind adding a little to his tip. found this out after seeing my credit card statement today... i guess i'm a slow learner, but i have definitely learned my lesson. good thing they have the whole man vs. food thing going for them so that they can continue getting non-locals in to waste their money! don't eat here!

the right crowd.... humpys is great if you like decent food and a "i miss my college bar" crowd. it feels "alaskan" in all the wrong ways - it's not expensive, it's not clean, and you could get picked up by either a weirdo or a city councilmen. and you can't tell the difference between the two. yet everyone goes here so feel free to join the crowd!

food in general. one word... sucks! very disappointed what happens when you get tourists? come on we have all the seafood here, let's start cooking right!

i feel this place is advertised as a family restaurant but it's a bar and nothing more. the bbq pulled pork sub is amazing and great atmosphere however don't even think about taking your family here for dinner.

yum. i liked the food, and the waitress was really nice. and it was just a nice place to eat at.

maybe i went on an off night but the food made me sick. i ordered halibut and it was rubbery. we had to wait forever for a table and waiting means standing next to your prime table and acting like vultures trying to get a seat. people had attitudes trying to snag tables and with no hostess or wait staff to make this place organized i don't plan on returning. however, i have heard tons of people like this place. it's just not my thing fighting for a table to chow down on food and have a couple of drinks.

service here is always underpar... for a supposedly amazing local spot i am always dissappointed whenever anyone suggests going here. parking is horrible the food is bland and the only thing they have to stick up for themselves is the local beer on tap. for the price i would expect more. for the effort it takes to get in i would expect a lot more. the seafood is even not worth it. i may be hating but i have tried and tried again to like this place and always leave feeling cheated.

fish specials. some of humpy's seafood specials have been some of the best seafood dishes i've ever had anywhere! the regular fare is always good as well. the bar is stocked with beer and scotch whiskeys which may be hard to find anywhere else in town. great place, fun place!

omg...i am very unwilling to take people here as it sucks.. i have been in alaska for many years and have been here a few times during them...frozen sea food is what you get besides a rip off!! stinks in there to!! it went to hell in a hand bag!!!

all i can say is. make your own bloody mary bar....
